Thank you for praying for our Backyard Bible Club at Little Salmon River Bible Church. We had a total of seven children come at least once throughout the week (including our two kids). We were excited to have the few that we had come and learn about Jesus and the salvation that He provides to those that place their faith in Him. Please pray for these children who heard the gospel that they will decide to believe in Jesus for salvation.

Please pray for us this week as we are doing a Backyard Bible Club at Little Salmon River Bible Church. Not sure what to expect but we are excited just to be faithful in providing something for children in this area. Pray that these children that come will be receptive to hearing God’s Word and will place their faith in Christ.

Thank you so much for your prayers on our behalf last week as we were serving in Blackfoot, Idaho. We had two Bible clubs last week and throughout the week we had 39 children come at least one time. We can definitely praise the Lord for the opportunities we had to share His truth through the Bible lessons and puppet shows that we performed for the kids. Seeds were planted last week and we trust the Lord that He will provide the increase.
We are excited this week as we are facilitating four VBSs in northern Utah. A team from Snyder, Colorado has come out to serve alongside us in ministry this week. We will be doing a VBS in Tremonton, one in Brigham City, and two in the Ogden area. Please pray that the Lord will provide us the strength and energy to serve this week and pray that we will be an encouragement to the churches that we are partnering with this week.

Please be praying for us the next few weeks as we will be beginning our VBS ministries throughout Utah and Idaho this week. We are travelling up to Blackfoot, Idaho to help with two Backyard Bible Clubs that Calvary Bible Church in Blackfoot will be hosting. I will personally be involved in teaching the Bible stories and putting on a few puppet shows for the children. I am really excited to have this opportunity to serve alongside my dear friends in Blackfoot, ID. Please pray that the Lord will be glorified through this ministry next week and that the children attending who do not know Jesus will come to faith in Him this week.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow! We have applied for an apartment in Heber City and our application has been approved. The search is over. Praise the Lord! We will be able to move in on either the 14th or 18th of this month depending on how much cleaning and repairs need to be done in the apartment after the current tenants leave on the 10th. Thank you so much for your prayers!

Please be continuing to pray for our housing situation. We had a couple opportunities pop up, but because we did not have enough income yet, we were turned down. So Danielle and I went on the job search and both found jobs in the Heber City/Park City area. Now we are on the house hunt again. Please pray that God will provide something for us that will be close to our work and also close to Kamas where we are serving in ministry. Pray that it will also work will for us in a way where we can be hospitable.
Pray for me as I travel up to Downey, Idaho this weekend as I will be filling the pulpit at Marsh Valley Bible Church.

Update: Thank you so much for your continual prayers for our housing. Yesterday we received a call from an apartment complex in Heber City with the news that there is a 3 bedroom - 2 bathroom apartment available and it would be ready on Tuesday. We went in to fill out the application, but because we do not have employment yet, we would not be accepted.
We have a couple potential job opportunities in Heber City that we are pursuing. Pray that we will be called in for interviews and that God would pave the way for us to both get jobs and consequently the apartment.
The job that I am pursuing is an opportunity at the Wasatch County School district as an aide. It would be a job that would work well with our ministry schedule. Danielle is looking at a job at the UPS store in Heber City.

We are asking for more prayer. We have been in Utah for a week now looking for a place that we can call home. We have looked in multiple towns near Kamas including those that would be about a 45 minute commute and have been unsuccessful in finding an apartment or house that we can rent at a price that we can afford. We are asking that you pray on our behalf that we would be patient as our faithful God shows us where we are to live. Pray that there would be a place that we could temporarily stay as we wait for what the Lord has.
There is one possibility that I would have you pray for specifically. There is a house in Hoytsville, Utah that is going up for rent and would be $1100 a month (that price includes utilities). This Saturday the people who are renting it are going to have an open house to allow everyone who is interested to fill out applications and to see the house. Pray that if this is where the Lord would have us that He would pave the way for us to live there.

Please be praying for us today. We are in the Coalville, Utah and Kamas, Utah area looking for housing. Pray that the Lord would provide a place for us that would be great for hospitality and ministry purposes. There is not a lot available in the area and what we have found is fairly pricey. Please pray that we will have wisdom and direction.

Thank you again for your continual faithfulness to pray for us as we are on the road raising support. We are getting ready to transition back to the field and hope to be settled somewhere in the first part of March. That is coming really soon. We are going to be moving to Kamas, Utah which is about 14 miles from Park City. We are going to be helping Kirk and Michelle Templeton in multiple areas of ministry. Kirk is the pastor of Kamas Bible Church and also a fellow graduate of Frontier School of the Bible. While we have opportunity, we will also be assisting multiple other churches that are affiliated with Tentmakers Bible Mission or Biblical Ministries Worldwide. We already seem to have a full summer as we will be helping with Vacation Bible Schools in multiple locations. Please be praying for us as we transition. Danielle and I will be looking for work, since we have not been able to raise full-time support. Also, we are looking for a place to live in the Kamas area,
This weekend we are going to be presenting our ministry at Moscow Bible Church in Moscow, Idaho. We are looking forward to reconnecting with our good friends from Bible school, Josh and Rebecca Shetler.

We have had a great six weeks in LaGrange, Wyoming, as we have been using the TBM home office as our home base during the holidays and as we traveled to a few churches in the area to share about our ministry. It has been such a blessing to reconnect with several of our professors from Frontier School of the Bible and to meet some of the new students who are attending this semester. Over the Christmas break, I had the opportunity to do pulpit supply three times (twice in a little church in Dix, Nebraska, and once in a church up in Yoder, Wyoming).
The Lord has continued to give us safety as we are travelling and He has continued to supply all of our needs. We serve an awesome and gracious God. Danielle travelled up to Oregon for her grandmother's funeral while I travelled down to Goodland, Kansas, for an IFCA Regional conference.
We drove back to Utah yesterday and we plan on being here for just a few short days before we hit the road again.
Thank you so much for your continual prayers that are made on our behalf. You are such a blessing and encouragement to us.

Please be praying for us tomorrow morning as we travel from LaGrange, Wyoming to Dix, Nebraska. It is supposed to start snowing around 8:00 in the morning and it will be snowing the whole way. Dix is only about 60 miles away but we still desire your prayers for us.
We are going to Dix with the purpose of filling the pulpit. Dix has not had a pastor since their pastor passed away about six months ago and Frontier School of the Bible typically lines up students to preach on Sundays, but since school is out for Christmas break, we decided to make ourselves available for pulpit supply here in the area.
We are looking forward to spending Christmas morning with these great people from the Dix area and we pray that they will be encouraged by the preaching of God's Word on Christmas Day.
