I’m breaking the 4th wall. This is Sis. Mellie. I help with photography and social media here at Lighthouse Tabernacle. When I’m holding my camera, I ask God what to capture. It’s a gaze around the sanctuary and I just stop. It’s amazing to watch people in the secret place with God. It’s a blessing to be honest. It pushes me to go deeper. What gets me every time is when the children go to that secret place. That doesn’t just happen. That is a product of modeled behavior. They watch the adults in their lives and they know that the secret place is the safest place to be. They know that when things get hard they can run to that place and meet with The Creator, The Comforter, The Great Physician, and The I Am. These children will one day run this world we live in. They will lead our churches. These children are the ones who will be ministering Gods word. Now is the time to prepare them. And the best way is to model it. It’s for us to get in our secret place. Take them with us there. Show them there is no relationship better than the one with our Father in heaven. Thanks for reading this. I’ll slip back behind my camera and this keyboard and thank God that I get to keep seeing things through His lens ❤️
