Music at the Red Door is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Colette Hall as our new Operations Manager.

Colette is no stranger to the Hartford arts scene, and she comes to us with a wealth of experience in arts administration, teaching, and performance. Click on her photo to learn more about her.

Colette succeeds a dear friend of Red Door, Ray Giolitto. For nearly a decade, Ray has been an invaluable pillar of this organization, ensuring that you and our artists have the best concert experience possible. His love of music and administrative prowess has taken our organization to the next level. With his help, Music at the Red Door successfully navigated the pandemic, artistic director transition, camp state licensing, new funding sources, and a rebranding of our logo and website.
Ray is transitioning to his well-earned retirement, though he assures us we will see him at Red Door events! Thank you, Ray.

We’re halfway through the 2026 edition of Kids Community Music Camp! Directed by Calida Jones, the camp gives local children entering grades 3-5 an introduction to violin, singing, percussion, and dance. Music at the Red Door is proud to support our next generation of artists!

And that’s a wrap on this year’s Choir Camp at Incarnation Camp and Conference Center! We had lots of fun singing and learning about our faith through music. And of course, there was plenty of time for camp shenanigans!

Choir Camp 2026 is off to a great start! A group from the St. John's Choir School is at Incarnation Camp and Conference Center for a week of singing, fellowship, and summer fun. Our week is filled with rehearsal, music theory tutoring, crafts, swimming, a campfire, games, and worship! The St. John's chorister program is open to all youth ages 7 and up. We love serving lunch at Loaves & Fishes at Immanuel Congregational Church, Hartford. Thank you to all who plan, shop, prepare, deliver, and serve. This wonderful ministry is a blessing.
