Alumni Shining Star Spotlight! ⭐️
Archmere Academy 9th grade World History students compete annually with other area schools at Delaware's National History Day in the category of Senior Division Research Paper. Students began this process in the fall by examining primary sources to investigate and study chosen topics for this year's theme of Revolution, Reaction, and Reform.
Yesterday, ABVM Class of 2025's Ella Stemerman won 2nd place for her paper titled "From Public Reaction to Reform: The Revolution in Mental Healthcare at Bethlehem Royal Hospital," after an oral interview by qualified judges.
This accomplishment qualifies her to compete at the national level this summer, amongst other winners across America.
In addition to her medal, Ella was selected from amongst all competitors of the day for the World History Award! Well done Ella. Congratulations!
