Larry “Joe” Eubanks, Sr., 77, of Ty Ty passed away Friday, May 29, 2026, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Ray Johnson, The Rev. Ashley Roig and the Rev. Andy Ring officiating. Mr. Eubanks will be laid to rest at Salem Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

Danny Phelps, Taylor Sumner, Al Surrency, Lyle Richardson, Brad Owens, Tommy Nash, Bobby Gordon and Doug Petty will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be employees to Ty Ty Ag, Hilda and Steve Bruce, Janice and Bobby Newell, Laverne Cook and Bobbie Keeter, Lorie Nash, Alan and Keiley Parrish, David and Jane Davis, Roger and Charlene Smith, Rusty and Lydia Hicky, Brenda and Allen Tanner, Cheryle Douglas and Amy and Juan DelToro.

Born January 7, 1949, in Tifton, Mr. Eubanks was the son of the late James Marion Eubanks and Edna Mae Goins Eubanks. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Delaine Apperson Eubanks. He had an incredible work ethic and loved working in his yard and his garden. He was a legend with a spreader; and many of those that loved him considered him a great mentor.

He loved his family, especially his grandkids and great-grandkids, who are those left behind to cherish his memory, one daughter and son-in-law, Jody and Laymond Fussell of Douglas; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Larry “Joey” Eubanks Jr. and Jamie Brandon and Kindall Eubanks, all of Tifton; his grandchildren, Molly Jo Fussell, Casin Wilson, Jaden Eubanks, Daniel Musgrove, Dustin Musgrove (Britney), Devin Musgrove (Megan), Dylan Musgrove and Courtney Williams Musgove (Jonathan); ten great-grandchildren, Kinslee, Kaylee, Kreed, Jade, Sylver, Blythe, Ashton, Maddie, Westyn and Carlee; and one sister and brother-in-law, Sonia Brice and Louie of Albany; a brother-in-law, Lonnie Harris of Tifton; and special friends, Nazalene Jones, Ray Johnson, Danny Phelps and Tommy Nash.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Salem Bereavement Trailer, 1142 Salem Church Road, Tifton, GA 31793.

Pastor Casey Wright and West Green Baptist Church family would like to extend our condolences to Morgan and Cindy Smith and family in the loss of Cindy’s father, Bob Garrett. Please keep the family in your prayers.
Robert Bruce Garrett
May 5, 1945 - May 20, 2026

Mr. Robert Bruce Garrett, age 81, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away Wednesday morning, May 20, 2026, at his daughter’s home following a recent decline in health.

Mr. Garrett was born May 5, 1945, in Bayonne, New Jersey, to the late Walter Garrett and the late Mabel Satger. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army where he dedicated six years to protecting our country. Following his time of service, he became a mechanic and a body man, lending his skills and love of fixing things to automotive and body shops in the South Georgia and North Florida area for many years. Mr. Garrett loved the outdoors and enjoyed activities that allowed him to spend time there including hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was a dedicated man of God, and he loved his time serving the Lord in the churches where he worshipped.

Along with his parents, Mr. Garrett was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Marie Blackwell Garrett.
Mr. Garrett leaves behind three children: Mary Chris Rowe, and husband David, of Sanford, Florida, Lucinda “Cindy” Marie Smith, and husband Morgan, of Douglas, Georgia, and Rebecca “Becki” Bialy, and husband Scott, of Punta Gorda, Florida; four grandchildren: KC Beasley, Garrett Smith, Joseph Robert Rowe, Reagan Bialy; 2 great grandchildren: Brody Beasley and Ellie Kathren Beasley; along with a number of extended family members.

In accordance with Mr. Garrett’s wishes memorialization will be by cremation.

Mr. Garrett’s arrangements have been entrusted to the kind and compassionate staff of Ricketson Funeral Home, Inc. of Douglas, Georgia.

Pastor Casey Wright and West Green Church family would like to extend our sympathy to Gary and Charlotte Royals on the passing of her daughter and Gary’s step daughter, Margaret Yvonne Ingle. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Obituary is below.
Mrs. Margaret Yvonne Ingle, age 44 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Monday, May 11th, 2026.

Mrs. Ingle was born on October 19, 1981, in Dalton, GA to David Carl Freeman and Charlotte Janice Buttrum. She was a devoted homemaker who found joy in caring for her family and creating lasting memories with those she loved most. Mrs. Ingle enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially fishing, riding motorcycles, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her caring heart, free spirit, and the love she shared with everyone around her.

Mrs. Ingle was preceded in death by her father, Mr. David Freeman. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Joshua Ingle of Ellijay, GA; son and daughter-in-law, David (Chassidy) Scott of Ellijay, GA; three daughters, Kristen, Nikki, and Sarah; her mother and step-father, Charlotte (Gary) Royals of Douglas, GA; brother, Chris Freeman of Ellijay, GA; sister, Amy Buttrum of Ellijay, GA, and granddaughter, Lydia Grace Scott.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Mrs. Ingle will be held on Tuesday, May 19th, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Junior Maney officiating. Following the service, Mrs. Ingle will be cremated.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 18th, 2026 from 12:00 p.m., noon, until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Food and flowers will be accepted in memory of Mrs. Margaret Yvonne Ingle.

Bernhardt Funeral Home of Ellijay, GA is entrusted with these arrangements.
