Sweet sweet sisters of FCC! I wanted to let you know of a new online Bible study that we will be starting up in just a few weeks!

Starting on Wednesday, February 17th we will begin going through the devotional Journey to the Cross: 40 Days to Prepare Your Heart for Easter from (in)courage.

I will put more information in the comment section below, and I hope you will consider joining!

Online Study Info: (If you have ANY questions, you can message me directly, and I am happy to help! I just wanted there to be one post that had all of the info!)

Group starting: Thursday, April 2 (But you can join any time!)

Lifeway is offering several of their video studies online for free. There is an app you can download to watch the videos, or you can stream them from your computer. And from now until March 31st, you can purchase and download the e-book for only $5.

That said, I will be putting together a Facebook group for the study “Stronger: Finding Hope in Fragile Places” by Angela Thomas.

You can watch each week’s video and work through each week’s homework on your own. I’ll post up a discussion question or two you can comment on during the week, and one night a week there will be a video chat where we can all see and talk with each other through the website Zoom.

Since Bible Studies might be on a hiatus for a bit, how many of you would be interested in starting an online Bible study through a Facebook group?

I would create a private group that would have a discussion questions you can post on, and once a week we could get on a group video chat.

Thoughts? Feedback?

Good Morning! I wanted to give you all a heads up on a few things.

1. Update 3/16: We will NOT be having Tuesday morning/evening women’s study this week. Weekly studies will resume once the church begins it’s regular meetings again.

2. We have decided to postpone the Ladies’ Spring Banquet. It isn’t canceled completely, and I will let you know of a new date once we have decided on one. We just want to have it at a time when everyone can feel more comfortable about health concerns. 💗

3. Needles and Pins (Monday Night) is going to be postponed for the time being. Look for information from Carol Place for when it will start up again!

4. Also, there will be no Widows and Widowers Meeting this week. Please reach out to Sherry Sandage or Carol Place if you have any need, as I know they would be happy to support you before the next meeting.

We looked at Philippians 1 this morning in Bible study and were encouraged to proclaim the gospel with a joyful heart no matter the chains we are in.
