Join us this Sunday for SOTV's 30th anniversary celebration! We pray that you are able to be with us as we give thanks for all the wonderful blessings God has given our church. Sunday School is at 2pm, and the service is at 3pm, followed by a celebration/party at the Kranz's in Horace after the service. The address will be provided immediately after the service.

Join us on September 13 @ 3pm for our 30th Anniversary! This celebration will give us the opportunity to look back and forward to all the wonderful ways God blesses our church. We pray you can join us!

When danger strikes, most people instinctively move away from it. Yet first responders do the opposite. Firefighters, police officers, and paramedics run toward the very scenes others are fleeing. They enter burning buildings, approach violent situations, and kneel beside the injured in chaotic moments. This response is unexpected because it goes against basic human instinct. Today God calls us to be spiritual first responders when we see people in trouble because of sin. Join us for worship this weekend as we learn how God calls us away from self-preservation and comfort in service to him!

Some churches teach that if a person follows God, God responds by granting prosperity and peace, as would only be expected. Today we see how that is nonsense. The Bible explains that if we are part of the Church of God, we will have to bear crosses. We carry our crosses because we know that in those moments of struggle, we are forced to turn to Christ and rely on his strength. Join us for worship this weekend as we explore an unexpected path, the one Jesus himself walked: the cross comes before the crown.
