Bordoville Seventh-day Adventist Church

Bordoville Seventh-day Adventist Church Welcome to the Bordoville Seventh-day Adventist Church page! Please join us for Saturday-Sabbath service from May to November at 4:00 PM.

Organized November 3, 1861 and erected in 1864, the Bordoville church has the distinction of being the first Seventh-day Adventist church to be built in New England after the name Seventh-day Adventist was adopted for the denomination, October 1, 1860. Services were held continuously for 131 years until it was closed September 23, 1995, due to the need for renovations. In 1999, fund-raising was done by interested persons, and a major renovation project was begun, all with volunteer workers. Work has continued each year as time has allowed. By 2000 we were able to start having annual all-day meetings which are held the third Saturday in September. From May to November there is a Sabbath service each Saturday at 4:00 P.M.
