Hey everyone! Just a heads up we are going to be announcing the winner of 2022 Faith’s Biggest Loser NEXT Sunday 4/10/22.

I’m so excited to see where everyone is in their journey and to celebrate our winner!
Remember just because the competition is over doesn’t mean you go right back to where you started! We have worked toward lifestyle changes, don’t let all your hard work be for nothing. Great work everyone!! Proud of you all!

All right y’all. Tomorrow is check in day!!! I’m excited to see how everybody’s progress is coming along!
We have four full weeks left for our 2022 Biggest Loser competition! Now is the time to buckle down, now is the time to finish strong and face this thing head on! I know as the time goes by it gets harder and harder to be motivated and stay focused, let’s not let that stop us now. Find your motivation, remember your why and let’s finish this competition with a bang! I am here to help however you need! Continuing to pray for all of you!

Great job everyone! Keep pushing, now is when things might get a little easier as we have made some new habits but now is when we also might need to start making some adjustments to continue weight loss as we enter new phases in our health and fitness!

The dreaded plateau!!! I was talking with one of the competitors about a plateau today, I thought this might be helpful for some of y’all as well and wanted to share.

A lot of times when we hit plateaus it’s because of our nutrition. The nutrition that worked for you initially might not be what your body is going to need to continue its progress. It could be either you’re eating too much or more likely you’re not eating enough and your body is starting to hold onto the nutrients that you give it. While a super low calorie diet can help initially to shock your body into weight loss, long-term it causes our body to start storing what we do give it.

We typically don’t want to have any more than a 500-1000 calorie difference per day in what we’re taking in compared to what we are burning. If it’s out of that range initially it will cause weight loss, but then it can start to cause either a plateau with no weight loss or even start to cause weight gain.

Try not to get discouraged, you are all making great progress!! You may have just reached the point where we need to start making adjustments, which means you are making long term changes to your health and fitness!!

Hey everyone!!! As we approach our 8th week of the competition I’m curious to see how everyone is feeling?? Typically it takes at least 8 weeks to create new habits, do you feel like you have made habitual changes? How are you feeling overall? Healthier, more energetic, less irritable or less lathargic?
Tomorrow (Monday 2/21) is check-in day!!!! I’m excited to see where everyone is at as well as hear how everyone is feeling!!
Continue making the healthy lifestyle changes you are! This is a marathon that has life long lasting rewards! Proud of you all!!!
