Every ekadashi, over 3000 shaligrams receive abhishekam simultaneously here at the Paranitya Narasimha Temple.

To worship a shaligram is to worship Maha Vishnu Himself. The scriptures describe shaligrams as fully awakened, conscious forms of God, carrying immense spiritual presence and protective grace. Even a single shaligram in a home or temple sanctifies the space and elevates all who come into contact with it.

By the grace of Paramahamsa Vishwananda, all have the opportunity to participate in this beautiful shaligram seva through our Adopt a Shaligram program.

By adopting a shaligram, you energetically participate in the worship, and receive the grace from all the prayers 🙏❤️

Happy 3rd Anniversary of the Paranitya Narasimha Temple! ❤️‍🔥🙏

When Paramahamsa Vishwananda first materialized Paranitya Narasimha on December 22, 2011, He said, “One day you will have a huge temple for Him.”

At the time, no one knew how this would happen. It seemed almost impossible—especially because Guruji had given the instruction for Paranitya Narasimha to remain hidden from sight, an adesh that lasted seven years. It wasn’t until 2018 that He was revealed to the public.

Slowly, Guruji’s wish began to take form. It took two years to source a single stone in India large enough for the new murti, followed by another two and a half years of hand carving.

In February 2022, the core team, led by Swami Tulsidas, moved to Elmira, New York, and purchased the property that would become the home of Paranitya Narasimha.

For the next year, they dedicated day and night in prayer and service—at times without heat or electricity. Devotees came from across the country and around the world to build, paint, donate, pray, and serve.

Every person who helped, every person who donated, and every prayer offered helped make this temple possible.

And now, three years after its opening, thousands of people from around the world have come to receive the darshan of Narasimhadev and experience the love and grace that are so palpable within this temple.

From our whole hearts, thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. Your love, devotion, service, prayers, and support have helped bring Guruji’s wish to life and share the grace of Paranitya Narasimha far and wide.

On this special anniversary, we celebrate Paranitya Narasimha—and we celebrate all of you who helped make His home possible. ❤️‍🔥🙏

This secret mantra calls for the darshan of the Lord and is only available to us through the grace of our satguru, Paramahamsa Vishwananda 🙏

ABOUT THIS SPECIAL MANTRA:

🙏 The Narasimha Pratyanga Mantra is an ancient, secret mantra which holds the power to give us Darshan of the Lord

🙏 The Narasimha Pratyanga Mantra is 1024 verse chapter from the Atharva Veda, known as the Narasimha Purva Tapani Upanishad

🙏 The Narasimha Pratyanga Mantra purifies the listener’s spiritual sight, giving them the ability to see the Lord in all things, feeling the Lord’s presence at all times

This extremely rare and powerful Upanishad will be chanted as a prayer for all.

Before the doors ever opened, Narasimha entered through the roof. ❤️‍🔥

This was June 13, 2023—Paramahamsa Vishwananda’s birthday —and one of the moments we will never forget.

Paranitya Narasimha, the 8.5-foot murti, was carefully lowered through the roof into what would soon become His new home in Elmira, New York.

At the time, the temple was still becoming.

The murals were being prepared. The sacred murtis were finding their places. More than 1,000 Shaligrams would soon have a home here. And there was a vision that this place would become a pilgrimage destination—a place where people could come from near and far to experience Narasimha, deepen their relationship with God, and discover the path of bhakti.

Three years later, we get to look back and see that vision alive. ❤️

Thousands of prayers have been offered here. Countless names of God have been sung. Festivals, pujas, yajnas, satsangs and quiet moments of prayer have filled these walls.

And now, we are preparing to celebrate three years of Paranitya Narasimha Temple.
What began with Narasimha coming through the roof has become a living home of devotion—and the story is still being written.

"The state of enlightenment or liberation is a state of inner illumination. A knowing that all is well despite anything happening on the outside. A comfort in the illumined atma regardless of who believes in one, loves one, is kind towards one, or not.

Whether one faces the best or worst situations, that inner peace and love don’t disappear or reduce. Self-realization is the arrival of a great sense of purpose that fills one’s whole life with meaning. Don’t ask for outside situations to change. That won’t really help you in the long run. Ask for inner transformation so that your life can be illuminated from the inside out."

-Paramahamsa Vishwananda
