There are three ways to participate in worship:

* 10:00 am at Asbury UMC on Sundays. Join us live at 10:00 am and
join us for fellowship, coffee and treats in the Fellowship Hall
after worship.

* 10:00 am livestream service on Sundays via YouTube as the live
service is taking place. An email with the YouTube link and an
online worship bulletin is sent out prior to each Sunday.

* Or, you can watch the YouTube service at anytime by logging in
using the link provided for each Sunday.

September Worship Theme:
As we head into September, we continue to follow the Israelites as they are formed into God’s people. We meet Moses grown up and encountering God on September 6. Then on September 13 we welcome back our Sunday School kids for Rally Sunday and talk about God’s preferences for those who are oppressed. September 20 brings us to a dedication of our teachers as well as looking at God’s provisions. Finally, on September 27, we are faced with our own complaints and questions about God’s continued presence among us.

UWF Meetings

* UWF board members meet at 9:30 am in the Wesley Room on the
1st Wednesday of each month. The UWF Board will meet Septem-
ber 2. Jan Akervik will share devotions and be our hostess.

* Love/Hope Circle meets at 1:00 pm in the Wesley Room on the
3rd Tuesday of each month. NEW MEMBERS WELCOME.
Love/Hope Circle will meet on September 15. A busy Fall season
will be discussed.

* Faith Circle meets at 1:00 pm on the 3rd Thursday of each month
in the Wesley Room. NEW MEMBERS WELCOME. Faith Circle will
meet at 1 pm onThursday, September 17, in the Wesley Room.
Cindy Yewell will share devotions and be our hostess. We will
discuss our pasty sale and continue our preparations for apple
pies, donuts, and the Fall Pantry on October 10.

* Knitting Klub meets at 2:00 pm in the Wesley Room on the 2nd
Monday of the month. NEW MEMBERS WELCOME. The
Knitting Klub will meet on September 14.

* Green Door Book Group meets at 9:30 am in the Wesley Room on
the 3rd Monday of each month. The Green Door Book Group will
meet on September 21.

* Bone Builders Plus will resume its Tuesday and Thursday
sessions from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. Our
first meeting will be September 1 and each Thursday and Tuesday
following. If the schedule changes the group will be notified by
email. On Thursday, September 10, we will meet in the Wesley
Room due to the pasty work schedule. Call Jan at 218-626-1539

Wednesday Worship and Potluck August 26

HI Everyone:

Just a reminder! Please join us on Wednesday, August 26 at 6:00 pm for Summer Worship, a potluck dinner, music by Dale and Margaret Rogers and a virtual blessing of our beloved pets.

This is a wonderful way to enjoy an hour or so of another beautiful summer day in Duluth! There may not be too many left!

We will join together and share a bit about our pets during our time of worship and music outside, and then go inside the Fellowship Hall for a potluck meal of delicious foods and fellowship.

Bring your favorite dish to share! A sign-up sheet for the potluck is on the table in the Narthex.
