An ICON is a representation of someone or something. As ICON Church, we are representing Christ in the world. In Greek, ICON (Eikon), means Image or Likeness. According to Genesis 1:26-28, we we
re created in the Image and Likeness of God. In other words, we are His Icons. More importantly, in Colossians 1:15 we see that Jesus is the Image (Eikon) of the Invisible God. He represented the Father, we represent Him. He is The Icon that none can compare to. At Icon Church, our mission is to be iconic for Jesus. Being ICONIC means to live in such a way that the distinction of our lives is excellence and we are marked by clear victory. God has called us to represent Him as more than conquerors.
