St. John Baptist Church - Dixiana Inviting you to visit and learn about one of the oldest church in Lexington County South Carolina. Pastored by Rev. Patricia Simmons Lowman.

The church is Pastor is Rev. Pastor Lowman has ushered in many changes, additions, and improvements to the church. Under Pasotor Lowman's leadership the "Thanksgiving Basket Project" was started to collect and donate food to needy members and community residents who are in need during the Thanksgiving holiday. The "Youth Choir" has become a major auxiliary because of Pastor Lowman. Almost every ye

ar since she became Pastor the church has held Vacation Bible School for the community. Under her leadership the Church has also begun having an "Annual Christmas Program & Bible Trivia" which has been a lively event for all involved. The Church cemetery is now lighted from dusk to dawn because of donations and hard work from volunteers and members. As the Minister of Music Pastor Lowman has continued to be in charge of the "Church Choir" and advise and guide them in worshiping in song and music. Earlier in 2016 she also helped to create the "Men's Choir". Please join us for Sunday Services in our secure facility located at 9:45 am for Sunday School and 11:00 am for Worship Services at 1311 Old State Road, West Columbia, South Carolina 29172 in the Dixiana Community. Our Prayer and Bible Study is held every 2nd and 4th Saturday from
11:00 am until 1:30 pm.

The Prayer Team is always working…….. the pandemic did not slow them down 🙏🏽. If you feel it’s time for you to put more into your praying, we can begin with the Scripture Matthew 6:9-13 when Jesus himself tells his own Disciples exactly how to pray 🙏🏽.
