Kittiwake Brothers and Sisters!
We have 2 men who have agreed to serve the Lord and His people as Deacons! Mike Sullins and Tyler Richardson will come back onto the Deacon Team in September!
Gregg Frye and Jonathan Burkett have served beautifully these last 3 years and will be rotating off for a well-deserved rest!

A beautiful sunset over our church building tonight after a sweet reminder from Pastor Mike that this is just the building and that "YOU, believer, are the church."

"Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.”

Our dear Brother Donnie Hughes left his earthly dwelling Friday 14 August to be in the presence of his God and Savior. Donnie suffers no more! Join with us as we pray for Nancy and all Donnie's family for His comfort and healing. We will announce memorial service details as soon as they are determined.

A good word from Interim Pastor Eddie on loneliness. Like the redwoods whose roots aren’t strong enough on their own, the church must link our roots together to stand strong and weather hard seasons. And through it all, God promises to never leave us. Hebrews 13:5

Brothers and Sisters of Kittiwake!
We will have a Memorial Service for our friend and Brother Tom Moore next Thursday the 13th of August at 11am in the Chapel.

Day 5 & last day recap. ❤️

This week we learned:
Day 1: Jesus is God’s promised Son
Day 2: Jesus is God’s perfect Son
Day 3: Jesus is the powerful Son of God
Day 4: Jesus is the proven Son of God
Day 5: Jesus is God’s plan for forgiveness

We had six children decide to make Jesus the guiding light of their lives, and we had the privilege of counseling many others as well. Our prayer is that the seeds planted and watered this week will continue to grow, and that each child will keep drawing closer to Jesus. We’re so thankful for all He has done this week. ❤️
