So thankful for a wonderful weekend last week with Hope Smith - At the tea, she spoke on “Psalm 23” and in our joint SS class, she reminded us of the importance of Bible study - not just individual study but the importance of joining a Bible study group to dig into the Word together.
If you would like to join a summer Bible study, please contact Daye Goforth.

Also, be looking for an upcoming plan to learn more about Bible Study tools and ways to study His Word. Some may enjoy inductive bible study, while others may feel that “verse mapping” or D-Groups are more fitting for a busy schedule or busy lifestyle. We will be sharing MORE about these groups soon.

We also will be presenting our new “GBC Bible Study” facebook and Instagram pages for updates, Bible study ideas and tools as well as announcements for Bible study groups - COMING SOON!

We are excited to highlight our speaker for this year's Ladies Tea!
Hope Smith is a pastor’s wife, former missionary, Bible teacher, mentor, and women’s ministry leader at her church in the Tampa, Florida area. She is mom to four amazing adult children and proud “Mia” to five treasured grandchildren.

Hope’s love for God’s Word began in a simple, unexpected way when a friend invited her to a Bible study in her twenties. She accepted, curiously attending, unsure of what she would find. She left forever changed.
Across more than 30 years of ministry, through seasons of great joy and deep lingering hardship, Hope has personally experienced the precious, life-giving power of God’s Word. God’s Word has been her anchor, her comfort, and her guide. Hope has invested a lifetime of passion and calling to gently help other women discover this same transforming grace for themselves

Attention all ladies ages 10 to 100:
On Saturday, April 25, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, we’re gathering in the FLC for our Ladies’ Spring Tea—featuring a light lunch, pastries, laughter, and enough tea to make a Queen proud.

We’re sad to share that our Chopped Night has been cancelled due to low participation. We know it’s a busy season and many are dealing with sickness, so we’ll plan to reschedule this fun event for the summer when things slow down a bit.
Stay tuned for the new date — we can’t wait to enjoy this together soon!
