Trusting in the Lord can be a hard thing to do when you are standing face to face with Goliath.

Trust is assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something.

David knew that God would not fail him as he stood before Goliath. We cannot allow our minds to be filled with thoughts of defeat or discouragement. We must know that our Lord will make a way in our darkest hours.

Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understandings; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”

DON’T GIVE UP! Perseverance is the continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure, or opposition. Be encouraged today and know that despite the opposition you currently have, you will reap a harvest. Keep the faith and don’t stop your momentum.

Galatians 6:9 says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up”.
