This is a running theme right now in our deliverance rooms. Deal with the things that you are putting above God or they will deal poorly with you!

“Your worries have become your idols!” says the Spirit of the Lord. “You have put your problems in the central position on the altar of your life. You have taken your eyes from Me and focused instead on your pain, endlessly cycling through negative what-if scenarios in your mind.

Your worries have become first in your life - your first thought as you wake up, to your last thought of the day. Finances cannot give you salvation. A spouse cannot be your eternal Saviour. Having a ministry cannot save you. Followers on social media cannot save you.

It’s time to pull down your idols of misery from the altar of your life. Put Me back at the centre of your heart and your mind. Be led by My spirit who lives in you, not by the worries that will try to distract you.

I am not a God who worries. Nor am I a God who asks you to worry. Shift your eyes back to Me, and take hold of the peace I give you, a peace not of this world. Do not let your heart be troubled and do not be afraid. Put Me back in My rightful position front and center of your life, and watch what I will do.”

Philippians 4:6 (NLT) Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

If you have come through the Rapha Rooms this year, you know we have been giving out journals for you to go deeper with the Lord! We’re already hearing beautiful testimonies of what the Lord is doing through those times of journaling! Pick one up and listen to what the Spirit of the Lord wants to say to you and record it, so you can remember!

You have partnered with Me and journeyed further than you thought you could. Remember now your testimonies of what we have done together, of My going before you to open the way.

Let faith bubble up and trust My leading to go again. If you do, I will knit you into new communities and equip you with the specific things you need for our journey ahead.

Joseph, My earthly father, trusted My heavenly Father. He followed God's leading above the noise of extreme danger. As a result, I was kept safe from slaughter while still a baby. Like Joseph, your part in the unfolding of My story is unique and significant. As you step out in faith, My glory is reflected in you!

Activation:

Journal your journey. Note down when you said ‘yes’ to Jesus in the last twelve months, even when you didn’t know how it would turn out. What happened? How has that built faith in you to say ‘yes’ again? Declare over yourself, “I have the faith to trust and respond like Joseph did, Amen.”
