The 4 year old preschoolers had an exciting Friday to end the week. They went on a walk downtown to the library for a tour. They had a story read to them and got a book from the Book Nook. On their way back they were surprised with a stop at the Dairy Queen where they got a tour too and got to see the inside of the freezer, BRRR!!, and of course each student got a yummy ice cream before returning to school. Thanks to the Moms that went with Mrs. Kartes to make this fun experience possible for our preschoolers.

End of the week and the surprises continued. Lunch and a beautiful cookie were provided for the staff for lunch today to finish up Teacher Appreciation Week, plus we got an extra long lunch to spend together because parents kept the students out for a long recess. A BIG THANK YOU to all the parents that made the week so special for the staff!!

St. Joseph parents and local businesses are too good to the teachers. What a crazy 3 days it's been for us with the goodies! No one has gone hungry. Check it out!! Blizzards and homemade bagels earlier this week, fruit and dips yesterday, chips, popcorn, cookies, trailmix, candy, granola bars, drinks, meat sticks, and then breakfast pizza today. We all appreciate it!
