Our June Family Faith Night will focus on serving others by creating 40 First Responder Blessing Bags for the people in our community who serve and protect us every day. 💙🚒🚑🚓

We would love help collecting a few simple items to include in the bags, such as:

• Bottled water
• Individually wrapped snacks
• Granola bars
• Gum or mints
• Small packs of crackers or trail mix
and card making supplies

Donations can be dropped off at Springdale United Methodist Church (Iowa) anytime before June 5.

This is a wonderful way for kids and families to learn that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

Thank you for helping us show appreciation to our local first responders and remind them they are seen, valued, and prayed for. 💛

Monetary donations are welcome as well and will be used to purchase remaining supplies. Venmo

But We Had Hoped

Each day we wake up to the profound thoughts of the many things we hope to accomplish in a day, week, month, and life. The long list of to-dos, the random act of kindness that came to mind yesterday, the glorious thought of having lunch with a friend, making that chicken pie recipe a friend shared, listening to a favorite podcast on the drive to work, the beach vacation you want to plan, and the tickets you want to purchase for that upcoming concert....

Faith & Family Night
