Bethany Lutheran Church (ELCA) West Branch, Iowa We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). We worship weekly at 9:30 AM (also streamed live on Facebook).

We may be small, but we do God's work in large ways through the power of the Holy Spirit that lives in us. We are a community of faith located in West Branch, Iowa which is about 10 miles east of Iowa City. We are part of the Southeastern Iowa Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). The sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the First and Third Sundays of the month (also

fifth when applicable). Fellowship for all people follows worship. We welcome any and all to come and join us for worship, to celebrate the amazing grace granted to us through Jesus Christ, and proclaim God's love for all people and all of creation.

Another great Wednesday. Thanks to the quilting group for providing the meal! Thanks to John’s wonderful reflection! As always, thanks to Jill for leading us in song! Thanks to Bishop Current for being with us! Thanks to all who were present! And thanks to all of you for doing God’s work every day! A reminder, we will not gather next week during spring break.

Thanks to the mens group for making pancakes tonight. Thanks to Wayne for his wonderful reflection. Thanks to Jill for your gift of music. Thanks to everyone that attended! I said last week it would be wonderful to have every seat filled and you all made it happen! And those that were unable to attend, know you are missed and loved! Have a blessed evening wonderful servants of Christ!

Join us tonight. Mens group serving pancakes from 6:15 - 7:00 PM followed by short prayer around the cross service with a short reflection by a Bethany member. If you can't make it tonight, plan to join us next week. The quilters group will be providing a meal and joining us will be Bishop Amy Current of the Southeastern Iowa Synod.
