Rabbi Jen Lader returned to Washington, D.C. this week to advocate alongside local and national Jewish leaders for the safety and future of Jewish life in America.
The brand new ‘Jewish American Security Act’ is critical to ensuring that Jewish institutions have the resources they need to stay safe, including increasing nonprofit security funding to $1 billion annually, holding social media platforms accountable for hate speech, protecting Jewish students, and supporting local law enforcement.
In this critical moment, we are proud that Temple Israel and our Detroit Jewish community is standing up with strength and moral courage, committed to making a difference.
