GOOD MORNING:
To God be the glory for another brand new day 🙏🏽 Help us to love and pray for those who oppose or mistreat us.

MATTHEW 5:43-44
"You have heard that it was said, "Love your neighbor and hate your enemy." But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your father in heaven.

FOOTNOTE:
By telling us not to retaliate, Jesus keeps us from taking the law into our own hands. By loving and praying for our enemies, we can overcome evil with good.
The Pharisees interpreted Leviticus 19:18 as teaching that they should love only those who love in return, and Psalm 139:19-22 and 140:9-11 as meaning that they should hate their enemies. If you love your enemies and treat them well, you will truly show that Jesus is Lord of your life. This is possible only for those who give themselves fully to God, because only he can deliver people from natural selfishness. We must trust the Holy Spirit to help us show love to those for whom we may not feel love.

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, You call us to a radical way of living. You said in Your Word, "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."
Lord, this is hard for our human heart. It is natural to want to pull away from or harbor anger toward those who hurt, misunderstand, or mistreat us. Please give us the grace and strength to move past our own hurt. Soften our heart toward the people who are difficult to love.
Today, we lift up those who have caused us pain or stand as our adversaries. We ask that You bless them instead of wishing them harm. Pour out Your mercies on their lives, heal whatever is broken inside them, and draw them closer to Your truth and peace. Transform our own attitude so that we do not fight hostility with hostility, but instead reflect Your unconditional grace.
May Your love flow through us to bridge gaps, and mend divides. Forgive us Father God for our sins, and grant us a tremendously, blessed, thankful, Thursday. In Jesus name we pray. Amen 🛐😇🫂♥️✝️

GOOD MORNING:
To God be the glory for another brand new day 🙏🏽

MATTHEW 5:11-12
Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

FOOTNOTE:
Jesus said to rejoice when we are persecuted. Persecution can be good because (1) it takes our eyes off earthly rewards, (2) it strips away superficial belief, (3) it strengthens the faith of those who endure, and (4) our attitude through it serves as an example to others who follow. We can be comforted to know that God's greatest prophets were persecuted (Elijah, Jeremiah, Daniel). The fact that we are being persecuted proves that we have been faithful; faithless people would be unnoticed. In the future God will reward the faithful by receiving them into his eternal kingdom where there is no more persecution.

PRAYER:
Lord, give us strength and courage when we face hard times, insults or false accusations because we follow you.
● FIND JOY IN TRIALS:
Heavenly Father, Your Word tells us to rejoice and be glad when people speak evil against us for your name. Help us remember that our true reward is great in heaven.
● STAND FIRM:
Lord, when we feel lonely or mistreated for doing what is right, give us a bold spirit. Keep our hearts from growing bitter or angry.
● REMEMBER THE PROPHETS:
Help us recall that the faithful prophets before us faced these same struggles. Let their endurance inspire us to stay true to Your path.

Forgive us of our sins known and unknown and help us to recognize our sins, repent, and ask for forgiveness of our sins, and grant us all a tremendously blessed Tuesday. In Jesus name we pray. Amen 🛐😇🫂♥️✝️

Hallelujah Yahweh for another day in the land of the living. I apologize for not sending out the devotional and video yesterday. I was exhausted from working on my sermon. My cup was empty. GOOD MORNING:

HAGGAI 1:14-15
So the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of the whole remnant of the people. They came and began to work on the house of the LORD Almighty, their God, on the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month.

FOOTNOTE:
The people began rebuilding the temple just 23 days after Haggai's first message. Rarely did a prophet's message produce such a quick response. How often we hear a sermon and respond, "That was an excellent point---I ought to do that," only to leave church and forget to act. These people put their words into action. When you hear a good sermon or lesson, ask what you should do about it, and then make plans to put it into practice.

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, You are the Lord of host, the Almighty God. Thank You for Your promise that You are always with us.
Lord, just as You stirred the spirit of Zerubbabel, Joshua, and the remnant of Your people in Jerusalem, please stir our spirits today. Wake us up from any spiritual sleep or distraction. Break the heavy weight of apathy off our minds and hearts.
Arouse us to action. Give us the courage and the energy to do Your work, and to build up Your Kingdom. Help us to stop putting our own comforts first while Your work waits. Give us clear focus on what matters to You.
Ignite our zeal so that we rise up and obey Your voice without delay. Thank You for Your grace that strengthens us for every good task.

Forgive us of our sins known and unknown and lead us to repent and ask for forgiveness. In Jesus name we pray. Amen 🛐😇🫂♥️✝️

GOOD MORNING:
To God be the glory for another brand new day.

ISAIAH 40:29-31
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.

FOOTNOTE:
Even the strongest people get tired at times, but God's power and strength never diminish. He is never too tired or too busy to help and listen. His strength is our source of strength. When you feel all of life crushing you and cannot go another step, remember that you can call upon God to renew your strength.
Hoping in the Lord is expecting that his promise of strength will help us to rise above life's distractions and difficulties. Do you believe God loves you and wants the best for you? Can you relax, confident that his purposes are right? Are you convinced that he has the power to control all of life---and your life as well? Though your faith may be struggling or weak, accept his provisions and care for you.

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, we come to you today because we are tired. You know the exact weight of the burdens we carry, and you see the places where our strength is completely gone. Thank You for the promise in Your Word that You give power to the faint and increase strength to the weak.
● FORGIVE US LORD
for trying to fight our battles and handle our strength in our own power.
● TAKE OUR EXHAUSTION
our burnout and our anxious thoughts. We lay them all down at Your feet right now.
● RENEW OUR STRENGTH
when we are waiting on You fill us with Your peace and Your quiet trust.
HELP US TO SOAR
above our current problems with wings like eagles.
● SUSTAIN US
so that we can run this race without giving up, and walk through our daily life without fainting.
Thank You that Your grace is endless and Your power never runs out. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit today and guide our steps.
Forgive us of our sins known and unknown and as we remember our sins, lead us to repentance and help us to ask for forgiveness. Grant us all a phenomenal blessed Wednesday. In Jesus name we pray. Amen 🛐😇🫂♥️✝️
