HEBREWS 11:1
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
FOOTNOTE:
Do you remember how you felt when you were very young and your birthday approached? You were excited and anxious. You knew you would certainly receive gifts and other special treats. But some things would be a surprise. Birthdays combine assurance and anticipation, and so does faith! Faith is the confidence based on past experience that God's new and fresh surprises will surely be ours.
Two words describe faith, confidence and assurance. These two qualities need a secure beginning and ending point. The beginning point of faith is believing in God's character---he is who he says. The end point is believing in God's promises---he will do what he says. When we believe that God will fulfill his promises even though we don't see those promises materializing yet, we demonstrate true faith (see John 20:24-31).
PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of faith. Forgive us for the times we rely solely on what we can see and often doubt Your promises. We pray that You will anchor our soul and give us a deep, unwavering confidence in the things we are hoping for. When the future is unclear, give us the courage to step forward, trusting in Your goodness even when the path is hidden. Strengthen our trust in You today. Forgive us for our sins known and unknown and grant us all a magnificent blessed Monday. In Jesus name, we pray, Amen.
GOOD MORNING:
To God be the glory for another brand new day. Focus on surrendering doubts and trusting God for the unseen. Lots of love to you all 🛐😇🫂♥️✝️

Here is my beautiful Spiritual mother Doris’ devotional for today.(She never misses a day!):

Romans 8:1
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus
FOOTNOTE:
"Not guilty; let him go free"---what would those words mean to you if you were on death row? The fact is that the whole human race is on death row justly condemned for repeatedly breaking God's holy law. Without Jesus we would have no hope at all. But thank God! He has declared us not guilty and has offered us freedom from sin and power to do his will.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the incredible gift of Your grace. We praise You because in Your mercy, there is now no condemnation for us and all who are in Christ Jesus. Lord, forgive us for the times we hold on to our past mistakes, carry unnecessary guilt, or let self-condemnation weigh down our spirit. When the voice of the enemy whispers that we are not enough, help us to silence those lies by standing firmly on the truth of Your finished work.
Because of Jesus, we are forgiven, made new, and are deeply loved. Help us to walk in that freedom every day. Guide our steps, and fill us with Your Holy Spirit, so that our minds and actions are focused on Your peace, rather than the struggles of our flesh. Grant us all a tremendously blessed Sunday. We ask this in the powerful, mighty name of Jesus Christ.
GOOD MORNING:
To God be the glory for another brand new day. ("Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus"). It is a powerful reminder to release guilt and step into the freedom of God's grace. Lots of love to you all 🛐😇🫂♥️✝️

Hallelujah Yahweh for another day in the land of the living. Here is a video of me on Sept. 1, 2024 telling four minutes of my then story. My story isn’t over yet:

Here is my faithful Spiritual mother Doris’ daily devotional for today:

ACTS 11:20-21
Some of them, however, men from Cyprus and Cyrene, went to Antioch and began to speak to Greeks also, telling them the good news about the Lord Jesus. The Lord's hand was with them, and a great number of people believed and turned to the Lord.
FOOTNOTE:
In Antioch, Christianity was launched on its worldwide mission, and there the believers aggressively preached to the Gentiles (non-Jews who did not worship God). Philip had preached in Samaria, but the Samaritans were part Jewish (8:5); Peter had preached to Cornelius, but he already worshiped God (10:2). Believers who were scattered after the outbreak of persecution in Jerusalem spread the gospel to other Jews in the land they fled to (11:19). The seeds of this ministry work had been sown after Stephen's death. At this time, the believers began actively sharing the Good News with the Gentiles.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the powerful reminder that You can use ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things. Just as You moved the early believers to boldly share the Good News. We pray that You would give us the courage and the right words to speak Your truth to those around us.
Open our eyes to the people You have prepared to hear Your message. Empower us through Your Holy Spirit to share Your love with gentleness and boldness, regardless of our circumstances. Most importantly, we pray that Your hand will be with us in all that we do. Let Your presence work through our lives so that many who do not know You will believe and turn to the Lord. Forgive us of our sins known and unknown and grant us all a super blessed Saturday. In Jesus name, we pray, Amen.
GOOD MORNING:
To God be the glory for another brand new day. Be like the early believers, boldly sharing the Gospel resulting in God's presence transforming many lives. Lots of love to you all 🛐😇🫂♥️✝️

Here is my beautiful Spiritual mother Doris’ devotional for today:

ACTS 11:2-18
So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcised believers criticized him and said, "You went into the house of uncircumcised men and ate with them." Starting from the beginning. Peter told the the whole story: I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision. I saw something like a large sheet being let down from heaven by its four corners, and it came down to where I was. I looked into it and saw four-footed animals of the earth, wild beast, reptiles and birds. Then I heard a voice telling me, 'Get up Peter. Kill and eat.' "I replied, 'Surely not, Lord! Nothing impure or unclean has ever entered my mouth.' "The voice from heaven spoke a second time,'Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.' This happened three times, and then it was all pulled up to heaven again. Right then three men who had been sent to me from Caesarea stopped at the house where I was staying. The Spirit told me to have no hesitation about going with them. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man's house. He told us how he had seen an angel appear in his house and say, 'Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter. He will bring you a message through which you and all your household will be saved. As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at the beginning. Then I remembered what the Lord had said, 'John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit. So if God gave them the same gift he gave us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could stand in God's way? When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, "So then, even to Gentiles God has granted repentance that leads to life.
FOOTNOTE:
When Peter brought the news of Cornelius's conversation back to Jerusalem, the believers were shocked that Peter had eaten with Gentiles. After they heard the whole story, however, they praised God (11:18). Their reactions teach us how to handle disagreements with other Christians. Before judging the behavior of fellow believers, it is important to hear them out. The Holy Spirit may have something important to teach us through them.
PRAYER:
Heavenly father, thank You for Your inclusive love that tears down dividing walls, and extends the gift of salvation to all people. Forgive us for the times we, like the early believers, cling to our prejudices, judge others based on appearances, or build barriers that separate us from those who are different.
Holy Spirit, open our eyes to the people You are calling us to reach. Grant us the humility to say, "Who am I to stand in God's way?" Soften our hearts to embrace diversity, to welcome the stranger, and to celebrate
the grace you so freely pour out on all of humanity.
Give us the courage to step outside our comfort zones and the wisdom to recognize Your work in the lives of others, even when it challenges our traditions. May our lives and our communities be living reflections of Your unifying love, where all are welcomed into the fold. Grant us all a fantastic blessed Friday. In Jesus name, we pray, Amen.
GOOD MORNING:
To God be the glory for another brand new day. Reflect on Peter's defense of the Gentiles and ask God to break down our, personal prejudices, remove our preconceived boundaries, and grant us a heart that embraces all people with the love and grace of the Gospel. Lots of love to you all 🛐😇🫂♥️✝️

ACT 10:34-35
Then Peter began to speak: "I now know how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.
FOOTNOTE:
Perhaps the greatest barrier to the spread of the gospel in the first century was the Jewish-Gentile conflict. Most of the early believers were Jewish, and they thought it scandalous even to think of associating with Gentiles. But God told Peter to take the gospel to a Roman, and Peter obeyed despite his background and personal feelings. (Later Peter struggled with this again---see Galatians 2:11-14). God was making it clear that the Good News of Christ is for everyone. We should not allow any barrier---language, culture, race, geography, economic level, or educational level---to keep us from telling others about Christ.
Every nation has people who are restless for God, ready to receive the gospel---but someone must take it to them. Seeking God is not enough---people must find him. How then must seekers find God without someone to point the way? Is God asking you to show someone the way? (See Romans 10:14, 15).
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank You that You are not a respecter of persons. Your love and grace knows no boundaries, crossing over every cultural, racial, and social divide. We praise You for accepting all who fear You, and seek what to do is right.
Open our eyes and our hearts to see others exactly as You see them. Forgive us for the times we have shown partiality or allowed judgment to cloud our view of our brothers and sisters. Help us to embody Your radical, unconditional love, and acceptance in our daily lives. Remove any walls of prejudice within our communities and bring us together in unity.
May our lives be a reflection of Your inclusive grace, welcoming others just as You have welcomed us. Give us a thankful blessed Thursday in Jesus name, we pray, Amen.
GOOD MORNING:
To God be the glory for another brand new day. Apostle Paul is breaking down cultural and racial barriers, opening the Gospel to all. Lots of love to you all 🛐😇🫂♥️✝️

My beautiful Spiritual mother Doris’ daily devotional:

ACTS 10:3
One day about three in the afternoon he had a vision. He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to him and said "Cornelius!"
FOOTNOTE:
Cornelius had a vision featuring a heavenly messenger. God spoke to other Bible characters through a variety of means---the burning bush of Moses (Exodus 3:1-4); the talking donkey of Balaam (Numbers 22:21-30); the gentle whisper heard by Elijah (1 Kings 19:11-14); the strange object lessons of Jeremiah (Jeremiah 13:1-11). Simply put, God speaks to his people in remarkably different ways---through the written Scriptures, through the words of others, through circumstances and events. It is up to us to listen, to be perceptive, to be alert. What is God trying to say to you today?
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, just as You answered Cornelius when he sought You in prayer, we come before You today with an open and seeking heart. We pray that our lives---our daily routines, our devotions, and our love for others---builds a memorial before Your throne. Give us the grace to pause, listen, and hear Your voice clearly. Open our eyes to Your divine direction, and prepare our hearts to step into whatever plans and purposes You have for us.
● ESTABLISH A RHYTHM OF PRAYER:
Cornelius was praying at a specific, dedicated time of the day ( the ninth hour or 3pm). Set aside intentional, dedicated times in your day to quiet your mind and commune with God.
● COMBINE PRAYER WITH GENEROSITY:
In this chapter, the angel notes that both Cornelius's prayers and his gifts to the poor were remembered by God. Pair your spiritual devotions with acts of charity and kindness in your community.
● EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED:
God used this moment of prayer to bring about a massive, history-altering shift in the early church. Approach God with the expectation that he can answer your prayers in ways that expand your worldview.
Forgive us of our sins known and unknown and grant us all a phenomenal blessed Wednesday. In Jesus name, we pray, Amen.
GOOD MORNING:
To God be the glory for another brand new day. Focus on seeking God's guidance, maintaining a habit of daily devotion, and being open to divine revelation. Lots of love to you all 🛐😇🫂♥️✝️
