God never called perfect people… He called willing ones.
The beauty of Scripture is that it doesn’t hide the scars, failures, doubts, or mistakes of those God used. Moses struggled with fear. David fell into sin. Peter denied Jesus. Yet God still redeemed, restored, and used them for His glory.

Your failures are not the end of your story.
Grace still reaches. Mercy still restores. Purpose still remains.

If God can use broken people in the Bible, He can still use us today. 🤍

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we also take a moment to pray for the families who carry the weight of loss, for our veterans, and for all who continue to serve.

“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul…” — Hebrews 6:19

May we never forget the courage, sacrifice, and love shown by those who laid down their lives for others. From all of us at SPC, we pray God’s peace and blessing over our community and nation today. 🇺🇸❤️

Don’t Contaminate Your Oil

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
— Proverbs 4:23

Oil in Scripture often represents the presence of God, the anointing, and a life set apart for Him. Pure oil was valuable. It was protected, prepared carefully, and never meant to be mixed with impurities.
The same is true spiritually.
God has placed something holy inside of you. Your prayer life, your worship, your calling, your convictions — these are not things to casually expose to anything and everything. The enemy understands that if he can’t destroy your purpose, he will try to contaminate it.

A little bitterness can contaminate your oil.
A little compromise can contaminate your oil.
Wrong voices, hidden sin, constant negativity, pride, unforgiveness — all of these slowly pollute what God intended to remain pure.
Not everything that enters your life deserves access to your spirit.

Protect what God is producing in you. Be careful what you entertain, what you feed your mind with, and who influences your heart. Purity is not perfection; it is surrender. It is daily choosing to stay close to God so your spirit remains clean and sensitive to His voice.
The world may normalize contamination, but God still honors purity.
“Keep thyself pure.”
— 1 Timothy 5:22
Don’t allow temporary things to corrupt eternal things.
