~ Matthew 21:9

✨️Did you know that Matthew 21 is the only passage in Scripture that mentions Jesus riding anywhere? Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey in fulfillment of the prophecies about Him (Zechariah 9:9). 🫏

Likewise, the crowds shouted "Hosanna!," meaning "God save me" echoing Psalm 118:26.

Today marks the first day of Jesus' journey to the cross for us. This week, may we contemplate more on God's goodness in sending us a Savior. ✝️
