Today’s worship centered on the important theme of teaching and guiding the next generation. 📚

Our Chancel Choir beautifully sang “Teach Me, Lord,” and during Time with Young Christians, Pastor Mark and our teachers blessed the children’s backpacks for the new school year. We also celebrated five students moving up by presenting each of them with a new Bible. Pastor Mark continued the theme with his message, “Teach the Children Well.”

Join us next Sunday at 9am for our annual Harvest Home celebration! The day will feature a short presentation on farming practices, a sanctuary beautifully decorated with produce and crops, and a tractor and antique car parade. Afterward, enjoy a hayride to the grove for lunch and fellowship.

We hope you’ll join us for this special Hain’s tradition! 🌾🚜

Tomorrow you are invited to attend the 930am worship service, either on-line or in-person! Pastor Johnson will talk about "The glue that holds life together". Communion will be offered. Adult Education begins at 815am and we continue with our study of Acts. Join in! The church will be closed on Labor Day Monday. Earlier today, twelve people joined together to make 465 lunches for the people at New Journey Ministry. Amazing effort team! Six of the team is pictured at New Journey for the meal. Hain's UCC doing some good for the youth at Bethany Childrens Home! God bless these backpacks and those students who will soon use them! Amen.

Today St. John Hains in Wernersville donated 57 backpacks to help B*H youth get ready for back to school! Thank you for your ongoing support and generosity! St. John Hains Representative, Mary Steffey, was met by Bethany's executive team to thank her for her contributions.
