Holy Nativity Lutheran Church Wenonah New Jersey About Us

Holy Nativity Lutheran Church has been an active congregation in Wenonah since 1932. We have been in our current location since 1968.

We are a member congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and its New Jersey Synod. We are a short drive from many of the surrounding communities including Mullica Hill, Mantua, Pitman, Deptford, and Woodbury. Our members come from all over these areas. Some of us are life-long Lutherans, many have come from the Roman Catholic Church, and others are brand new to church life. We are a mix of young and old and in-between, families and singles.

September is National Su***de Prevention Month. "Su***de impacts people of all ages, especially youth and young adults. Pray for hope, relief from suffering and skilled, compassionate care for people who struggle with loneliness, depression and mental illness. Pray that they will find comfort and encouragement in knowing that God abandons no one. Ask God to bless and further the work of Lutheran Su***de Prevention Ministry and other organizations engaged in su***de awareness, education, collaboration and advocacy." —Prayer Ventures
