The 700-pound bell worth $40,000 was stolen from a cemetery in Gwinner, N.D. Most of it was recovered but the cemetery association is weighing whether to repair it, replace it or build a monument.

Glad I was able to connect with you.
Howard died in 2019 after a long and successful ministry. We had moved into senior living here in Detroit Lakes from our lake home on Floyd Lake. Incidentally our lake home has been in the Stewart family for almost 100 years! I still own the lake home and my “out of town” children come to visit as often as they can. I don’t know if you remember any of our children (but the youngest 2 were born while we lived in Wendell). John (our oldest) is retired from Cenex Harvest States and moved here to DL to be able to help us out. Sue is an attorney living in Hugo, MN; Paul is an accountant living in Burnsville, and Christine (she’s unable to work because of serious health problems) also lives here in DL. I have 7 grandchildren (only one is married) and 3 great grandchildren. I have fond memories of our years in Wendell. My prayers are with Trinity and all of you. I’m including my address just in case anyone remembers me. LOL!!!!

WINDING DOWN
This may be the last Trinity calendar that wil be sent out this fall.
However, there is a lot of infomration that will need to be sent out as we approach the final closing of the building.

Please mark your calendar for the online auction of Trinity contents which will be held from May 27, 2026 through June 3, 2026. The final closing of the online auction will be June 3, 2026.
At some point, we will let all of you know more information regarding the auction. Speaking personally, I have not participated in an online auction so I will need more information from Aasness Auctioneers on how to do this. We may try to arrange a time when members can get together and work on the auction together. Stay tuned for more information on this part of how the church closing will proceed.

If you have any questions about these final months, please contact a Church Council member or Connie Krusemark. The Council members are: Paul Brutlag, Gwen Brutlag, Deb Beckman, Mike Aamot, Pam Olson, Arlin Olson and Barb Larson.

Baptism during the worship service of Nora Kate,
daughter of Kate & James Dahlman.
11:15 – The family of Nora Kate invites the congregation to a luncheon following the services. Everyone is welcome.
