Mother of Perpetual Help, stir in me the desire to be there for someone who really needs me. Help me to be alert to the cry for help that someone may be making to me. Help me to be as attentive to the needs of others as you were to your child in the manger. Mary, Mother of Jesus, pray for me.

cyo hayride tomorrow sunday, december 18th!! meet and olsd church parking lot at 5:00 for caroling and deliver gifts to the nursing home!!

gathering tonight dont forget to bring your gift for a nursing home resident!! also dont forget we will meet at the KC HALL tonight!!!! all highschool we will go to mass tonight so be at the hall by 5:40!! and jr high see you after mass!!

to all youth that are planning to go to dyc in february we will be at the lake charles mall tomorrow 12/3/11 saturday from 10:30 to 4:00 wrapping christmas gifts!! ALL MONEY GOES TOWARDS DYC FUND!! TO THOSE WHO ARE MAKING YOUR CONFIRMATION THIS COUNTS AS SERVIE HOURS!! HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

Advent Evening of Worship with Matt Maher and Adore Ministries

Matt Maher and Adore Ministries are coming to the Diocese of Lake Charles on Thursday, December 1st, 2011 for an Advent Evening of Praise and Worship. The event will be held at the Our Lady Queen of Heaven Family Life Center (3939 Msgr. De Blanc Drive, Lake Charles, LA 70605). T......he doors will open at 6:20 PM. The evening will begin with a Pre-Concert featuring Nichole Lanthier followed by a Matt Maher concert, teaching by Paul George and Adoration and if that is not awesome enough already the night will conclude with Praise and Worship with Matt Maher!!!

Tickets are $8.00 in advance which ends tomorrow at 4:30PM and $10.00 at the door.See MoreSee More
