Preparation Before the Promise

Before God gives you the promise, He prepares you for the pressure.

Israel crossed the Jordan in Joshua 4, but instead of fighting Jericho, God told them to stop and consecrate themselves.

Why?

Because spiritual preparation must come before spiritual promotion.

God is asking somebody today:

Are you ready for what you’ve been praying for?

If God answered your prayer today, would your character be strong enough to handle it?

Preparation always precedes elevation.
