Wishing all of my friends and family a very happy and blessed New Year ! As I was pondering in thought this morning, my mind was lead to the book of Isaiah chapter 43. We see Gods promise here to redeem His people. Thinking back over the prior year and the troubles and problems this world has faced, we can still find hope, joy and peace trusting in Gods will. It seems I was brought to focus on verses 18 and 19, " Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing ; now it shall spring forth, shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert". Friends, this is a promise of God. So many times we block our own blessings by dwelling on the past. For God's children there is a glorious promise for the future, if we just let go of the past. My prayer for each of you reading this today is that we may each be able to forget the troubles of previous time and rather grab hold of the promise of God for the future ! The same God who promised to make a way for the Israelites, still wants to guide a path for each of us as well. May God bless and prosper each of you throughout this coming New Year !

If you would like to be part of the service, please message us either here or on my personal page. God Bless and stay safe....Asst Pastor Russ

ATTENTION.....UJC ANNOUNCEMENT....Hello Friends, It is with a very hard decision and prayer between myself and the other leaders, that we have reached the decision to postpone services at Uncle Joes Chapel effective immediately 3/21/2020 due to the pandemic Covid 19 spreading worldwide. The situation will be re decided weekly based upon current events. It was only through much discussion that we made this decision. Sr Pastor Rick Jonas, who works at a hospital, and myself, traveling throughout some of the hard hit areas, both fear the risk of possibly carrying something in to others. While I assure you we are both fine for now, this decision was reached trying to take our part in the social distancing that is being recommended by our officials to try to contain the further spread of this virus. I've been told to simply trust in God, which we do; but God still trusts us to allow common sense to prevail. We have members that have been through cancer treatments, and elderly and the virus seems to hit these groups the hardest. A shepherds job was to protect the sheep, to defend them from all dangers, and we pray that through these measures we will be doing our part to help control this virus and to protect our members. Just remember, the church lives within each one of Gods people. Allow others to see the church in you..We will post further updates as things progress..May God richly bless each one of you.....Sincerely, Asst. Pastor Russell Wyatt
