On Wednesday, our students at SMTS continued to develop the skills needed to teach Bible lessons, present the Gospel using the Wordless Book, and more! Please keep them in your prayers today as they not only continue their classroom work, but also participate in a time of open air evangelism.

Tuesday was another great day at SMTS! From missionary stories, to puppets, to learning more about applying the GOSPEL points to a Bible lesson, our students are discovering more about how to effectively minister to children. Please continue to pray for them this week!

The first full day of Summer Missionary Training School is complete! Monday was packed with introductions to many of the tools and concepts that our summer missionaries will use all summer long to teach children about the good news of the Gospel. Please continue to pray for our students as they experience this intensive week of training.

Summer ministry season is about to begin! Please join us in praying for our staff and volunteers as they finish their preparation, both for Summer Missionary Training School (which begins next week!) as well as all of their Day Camps, 5-Day Clubs, and Vacation Bible Schools throughout the summer.

The Lord uses our Summer Missionaries to make an eternal impact on the lives of the children they minister to, but we are so thankful to hear stories of the ways He works in the lives of the missionaries, as well!

Our spring banquet on Saturday was a success, full of fellowship and praise! Huge thanks to everyone who supported CEF by sponsoring tables, coming to the banquet, and donating to our summer programs! Also, a big thanks to those who helped with setup, serving, and cleanup! It was a beautiful example of the body of Christ coming together to serve each other! All glory to God for a great night ☝️

Time seems to be moving so quickly - many of our Good News Clubs will be wrapping-up for the school year over the next few weeks! Will you pray that the truth of God’s Word would convict the hearts of the children in these clubs in the weeks that are left? As time with these students comes to a close, please pray that they would each come to know Jesus as Saviour and get connected with Bible-believing local churches before the end of this Good News Club year.

Every child at Good News Club represents a family - a family filled with different people, backgrounds, and hurts that we may never even see. Research shows that parents and families make more of an impact on a child’s beliefs than any other influence. Let’s pray for the families of our Good News Club children. Please pray first and foremost that God would bring them to salvation!

As spring begins, things like beautiful weather, school activities, and the start of sports and other extracurriculars all have the potential to distract children from attending Good News Club. Will you pray that these activities would not conflict with the children’s opportunity to hear the Gospel each week?
