Today we laid to rest Deacon Nat Vaughan. His leadership and presence will be missed. Rev. Billy Howell conducted the service and Patricia Elks performed on both the piana and the pipe organ. Here's a picture of the flowers the family offered to brighten our service this Sunday.

We are saddened to post the obituary of a long time devoted member of Weldon Baptist Church. Deacon Nat Vaughan attended the church from the mid 1940s until his calling to his heavenly home.

It's with sorrow that I am posting the sad, tragic news that our pastor, Francis Kyle passed away this morning as a result of a vehicular collision. Currently no plans have been made while his family processes this tragedy.
