As many of you know, after serving 41 years in Global Missions, my husband and I have officially retired as of December 31, 2025.

We have been amazingly blessed by the opportunity to serve this beautiful region of the world and her most gracious and hospitable people — and thereby meeting many of you!

We are confident you, too, will be blessed by following the ministry of the newly appointed Pacific Regional Director, Rev & Mrs Troy Wickett, on their page as they assume this great responsibility:

Torrential rains and landslides in Sumatra have killed 600+ people, left hundreds missing and displaced over 570,000, as broken bridges, mud and power outages cripple relief efforts across Indonesia.

Widespread flooding has devastated communities in Sri Lanka, Thailand and Indonesia.

We are heartbroken to report that over 1,000 of your global neighbours have lost their lives. Our local partners are on the ground, responding to the disaster in their communities quickly. They are delivering meals, helping families to higher ground and providing support to children who have lost their homes.

Children are especially vulnerable when hit with disaster, so we ask you to move with compassion and pray.

Please pray for the children, their families and the communities who are scared, grieving and facing a tomorrow that feels uncertain.

When you pray, your love reaches across oceans to your neighbours. 🙏
