First Baptist Welcome Learning Center Affordable, highly recommended childcare facility. We offer full-time care for children 6 weeks-PreK. School readiness skills are a primary focus for us.

The educational philosophy of First Baptist Learning Center is based on meeting the developmental needs of children. The Wee Learn and Creative Curriculums provide the framework on which our program is planned to meet each child's spiritual needs as well as emotional, social, cognitive, and physical growth. Our center offers opportunities for children to create, explore, problem solve, learn socia

l skills and concepts by first hand experiences and instruction. Children develop a positive self image through a balance of self and teacher directed activities. Our staff provides care that is supportive, nurturing, warm, loving, and responsive to each child's needs. We believe parents and teachers are partners in your child's care and education and welcome you into the classroom. Distinctive Features:

-Wee Learn Christian Curriculum and Creative Curriculum
-Weekly special activities--Special Science, Kidz Fit, Awesome Art, Sign Language, and Kid's Cooking are all included in tuition fee
-Emphasis on school readiness skills, self help, and social skills
-Attractive, well-kept facility and large fenced playground
-We strive to work hand in hand with parents and provide daily reports
-Daily developmentally appropriate activities provided using a theme based learning approach incorporating math and language skills

-We also host a variety of special events such as a Fall Festival and art show, Thanksgiving lunch for parents and children, a Christmas Program, and events for Mother's Day and Father's Day.

-The center also has an all day Summer Camp program for rising 1st-6th graders during summer vacation that includes field trips/activities every day, mission work, and library time!

-Hours of Operation: 7:00am-6:00pm Monday through Friday

-Rates for Classrooms/week are as follows- Infant Room: $194, Walker/Crawler Room: $194, Toddler Rooms: $175, 2 Year Old Rooms: $175, 3 Year Old Rooms: $162, and PreK Rooms: $162 (PreK tuition includes gymnastics classes at Central Carolina twice a month). Our After School Program is $72/ week (plus $14.50 a day when out of school) and the Summer Camp Program Rate is $170/ week.
