Through so much devastation, we have had countless churches and communities come together to help thousands across our beautiful county. With everyone’s help, we aren’t stopping anytime soon! We will rebuild McDowell county even better than it was before. Thank you to so many people for coming together from far and wide to help make sure everyone in need has food, water, heat, supplies. We couldn’t do it without everyone!

Good morning. Just wanted to get on and update what's happening. I dont get on this page a lot because we are just super busy. We have served over 4,000 people this week. Many here have lost all of their freezer foods because of 5 or more days without power. Ee are desperately seeking meat for them. There are several ways to do this if you want to help. First of all PRAY!!! 1. Bring meat to us. This includes venison. We love it and we don't mind at all. 2. Call Goodsons and put money on an account for us. Thats the easiest for us to get to. You can order specific amounts as well. Like, 4 of the 1 pound packages for example. Any size and any type. We are not picky. 3. You can send money to paypal.me/godsgraceministry
4. Size 4 and 5 diapers. Baby bottles. Formula. Wipes. 5. PRAY PRAY PRAY
6. Bottled water. Thats an everyday forever need.
7. Mail a check or money order to po box 13, Elbert, WV. 24830.

The food pantry will be open on Thursday from 5 to 7pm. We would LOVE to help our folks who work but aren't able to get food stamps. We don't worry about income..if you need it and you haven't been this month, please come by. If it's your first time, you will need your ID, a screen shot of your power bill or something proving your address and something other than cardboard boxes or paper bags to get your food in. A clothes basket or tote would be great. We want to help you and your family out in these tough times. God bless!!!

Thank the Lord, we have meat to give away on Monday. We have a limited supply. We will open from 10 to 1 and you MUST have ID to get it. It is first come first serve and you absolutely CANNOT pick up for someone else. Please don't ask. Bring your basket.

Lots of things happening this week. VBS is still happening at Little Vine Baptist Church from 10 to 1 today. Their final day is Thursday with so much to give to the kids. You definitely don't want to miss it. The bus will be at the food pantry at 9am then making rounds. Send me a message if you need a ride. Then on Thursday around 6pm, we will be having hot dogs, snow cones, cotton candy, pop corn, bounce houses and we have FREE SUPER GIANT PRINT BIBLES. Those good ones you all love so much! Everyone is welcome and everything is free. Come out and have a good time!!!!

Super important post. Tomorrow from 5 to 7pm we will be blessing families with some really good food supplies. Now, the street is closed because of the festival BUT you can walk from the post office and carry it from there. You will not be served without and ID and a basket. We have no boxes. We also have a couple of non food items as well.
