Whether you'd like to schedule a relaxing or structured retreat, spend an awesome week at one of our exciting Summer Camp events, or just enjoy some of the finest scenery in Pennsylvania, Wesley Forest Camp is the ideal place to be. We're more than just a beautiful and relaxing setting. We also have a team building low rope course, basketball court, gaga

pit, miles of hiking trails, crafts, field games, plenty of indoor and outdoor meeting space, abundant outdoor chapels and a large lake where you can enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking, paddle boating, canoeing and ice skating. Did we mention how delicious the food is? All meals are prepared by the friendly and accommodating Wesley Forest food service staff and served family style in a casual dining atmosphere. The campsite is nestled at the base of White Mountain in the western end of Buffalo Valley, and adjacent to Penns Creek, famous for its excellent trout fishing waters. Wesley Forest Camp is owned and operated by the Susquehanna Conference, the United Methodist Church. The camp is located in western Union County about halfway between Lewisburg and State College. We are so excited to spotlight Vanessa Trauger - a longtime counselor and current dean of Camp Splash.

Vanessa recently took the field to kick off a Baltimore Orioles game with a stunning performance of the National Anthem. No seriously we got goosebumps watching it!

But her journey back to singing makes this moment even more special. After suffering a vocal injury that left her unable to speak or sing for 6 months, Vanessa leaned heavily on her faith during vocal healing.

“When I was finally cleared to start singing again, the first song I chose was ‘Day for Singing’ by Mission House. Now when I sing, I’m filled with immense gratitude and more joy than ever before.”

For Vanessa, music is the ultimate way to connect with God and others. Whether she’s belting out “My Lighthouse” on the trails with campers, singing silly songs in the Dining Hall, or leading worship around the campfire, her heart is always in it.

We are so lucky to have Vanessa in our community, and we can’t wait to see (and hear!) the joy she brings to camp this summer. Join her at Camp Splash this summer for grades 3-6, July 13-17!

🚨 One more big announcement to round out our week

Meet The Net Bridge. We love this new (as of Tuesday!) addition because it’s built for EVERYONE - no more “big kids only” crossing. Now our littlest campers can lead the way across the creek with total confidence. It’s the ideal replacement for the Monkey Bridge that was retired a few years ago. And it’s already getting rave reviews from Outdoor Ed students and teachers who were some of the first to cross it!

This bridge exists because of YOU! Most of the funding for this project came directly from Raise the Region donations. You didn’t just help us build a bridge; you built a way for every camper and guest to explore further. Thank you!

We are thrilled to officially announce the Wesley Forest Expansion Project! Over the next few years, we’re embarking on a journey to continue to grow, modernizing our facilities while preserving the sacred spaces you love.

What’s coming in Phase 1?

🌲New High & Low Ropes Challenge Course

🏡New Lakeside Cabin Villages

🌊Giant water slide & lake program upgrades

🍽️Dining Hall HVAC & interior/exterior updates

👋A new year-round Welcome Center

We've got your Sunday plans sorted! Join us for our Open House next Sunday May 17 from 2 PM - 6 PM. Bring your family, your friend, or just yourself - our space is open for you!

Expect s'mores, crafts, guided tours, hiking, hammock hanging, fishing, and hot dog bar for the duration of the event.

No registration required and the event is FREE. Drop in anytime and stay as long as you’d like. We can’t wait to see you at the Forest!

It’s time to get Wesley Forest ready for a legendary summer! Whether you’re a DIY pro or just have a willing pair of hands, we have a spot for you.

We'll be picking up brush, cleaning boats and getting lakeside prepped, and generally beautifying camp for the season.

Lunch will be provided. Stay after the work is done for a community campfire.

Happy Earth Day!

We are grateful to be a camp grounded in nature where the outdoors isn't just a setting, it's our greatest classroom. From the smallest pebble to the vast night sky, campers are encouraged to experience the awe and wonder that earth provides.

Rocks, water, sticks, leaves, wild neighbors, towering trees and sunlight become the lens through which we discover the connectedness of all creation.

Today we invite you to step outside and find your own moment of wonder and gratitude for nature.
