No plans for July 4th weekend? Well… you are always invited to come to Webster Presbyterian Church!

As you probably already know, this July 4th is a celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. To celebrate, Webster Presbyterian is hosting the Vela Ensemble, Houston’s newest performing ensemble, in a concert of the music of American composers, plus an old-fashioned ice cream social to follow... AND with a mission component to boot. A love offering will be taken at the door with proceeds being split 50/50 between the Vela Ensemble and the WPC Little Free Food Pantry. Please come out and support this new musical group in the Houston-Galveston area as well as the Little Free Food Pantry which needs a boost keeping up with demand as it is heavily utilized in the summer months.

What: SOUNDS OF AMERICANA
Who: The Vela Ensemble - woodwind quintet + friends
When: Sunday, July 5 @ 3:00 pm, ice cream afterward
Where: Concert in the Sanctuary; Ice cream in the Fellowship Hall.
Why: Because it’s fun - great music, great fellowship, and a great mission

Life - The Little Free Food Pantry!
Liberty - To pursue creative endeavors as endowed by our Creator!
Pursuit of Happiness - Ice cream (just sayin')!

Reminder that our Youth Mission Trip bake sale is coming up this Sunday, May 24th, before and after church. Bring your baked goods or pre-cooked meals to donate, and your dollars to make purchases! All proceeds will go towards sending youth and young adults on the New Covenant Presbytery youth mission trip to Nashville, TN this summer. Many thanks!
