Sitting in church today, I saw Jonah differently.
He wasn’t just tired…
he was disconnected.
A storm was raging around him,
and the only one sleeping was the one who knew God.
That hit me.
It’s possible to get so used to what’s wrong that it no longer bothers us.
We adjust.
We normalize.
We grow quiet.
But silence isn’t peace…
and comfort isn’t always good.
“Sin doesn’t become less sinful because you’ve gotten used to it.”
Maybe it’s time for all of us to wake up a little.

This year as we mark this joyous occasion, we will also be celebrating new life for the kingdom of God through baptisms and dedications. Thank You all who joined and cooked for our Gratitude Suday Potluck. We had a little short of 100 in attendance. The combination sevice with our hispanic sister church Emmanuel was AMAZING. I love my Church
