As the sun sets today on the National Day of Prayer, join us in prayer for our Nation.
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with humble hearts, recognizing that You alone are God—holy, sovereign, and faithful. On this National Day of Prayer, we pause as a people to turn our attention back to You.
Your Word says in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
So today, Lord, we do just that—we humble ourselves before You.
We repent, Father. Forgive us for the ways we have drifted, for the times we have trusted in our own strength instead of Yours, for the sin in our hearts and in our land. Cleanse us, renew us, and restore us. Let Your mercy triumph over judgment.
Merciful God, we lift up our nation to You. We pray for every leader—local, state, and national. Your Word tells us in 1 Timothy to pray for those in authority, so we ask that You would grant them wisdom, discernment, and a heart that seeks righteousness. Guide their decisions, establish justice, and let truth prevail in every place of influence.
Lord, we pray for unity in our nation. Where there is division, bring reconciliation. Where there is confusion, bring clarity. Where there is fear, release Your peace. You are not the author of chaos, but of peace, and we ask that Your Holy Spirit would move across this land in a powerful way.
We pray for families, churches, schools, and communities. Strengthen marriages, restore homes, and protect our children. Let the church rise up—not in fear, but in faith—boldly declaring Your truth and living as a light in the darkness. Let revival begin in us, Lord. Stir our hearts again. Awaken what has grown cold. Ignite a fresh fire for Your presence.
Father, we ask for healing in our land—physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Heal those who are sick, comfort those who are grieving, and bring hope to those who feel forgotten. Let Your healing power flow through every city, every neighborhood, every home.
And Lord, we declare that You are our hope. Not systems, not people, not circumstances—you alone are our source. As it says in Psalm 33:12a, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.”
Today, we declare again that You are our God, and we place our trust in You.Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in our nation, just as it is in heaven. Use us as vessels of Your peace, Your truth, and Your love.
We give You all the glory, all the honor, and all the praise.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
