Thank you for the amazing response we had last week for Peach Festival volunteers! Next month, Parker County will have its biggest event of the year and our church is in the middle of it! Here are more details if you are still considering volunteering.

Here are the things we offer to festival attendees:
AC!!! Restrooms. Water. Places to sit and rest indoors. Changing tables. Spaces for nursing moms/babies. Room for kids to rest and watch a video.

What we do:
Greet. Smile. Share kind words. Give directions. Keep things clean and stocked.

Peach Festival is a HUGE Parker County tradition...over 50,000 attended last year! This year it is Saturday, July 11!

We will open our doors to be a place for people to stop and use the restroom, grab some water, and get out of the Texas heat for a few minutes. Thousands of people will walk through our doors that day, and our church will have plenty of opportunities to represent Christ and love our community in such simple and practical ways.

What a Sunday at First Baptist Weatherford 🙌

Today we celebrated 11 lives made new through baptism and honored 12 graduating seniors as they step into their next season. Watching people publicly declare their faith and celebrating God’s faithfulness across generations made for a day we won’t forget.

God is moving and we’re grateful to be part of it.
