It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pastor William (Sonny) Buckingham on 3/2/2026. However we can rejoice because of the healing. No more pain and no more suffering as promised in Gods work. We know that he is dancing before the throne of God. Although our hearts are burdened. Sonny has received the ultimate healing from this world.

Please be advised that Finn scavenger hunt is not at Rock of Helps Church nor in our trash We have had some rummaging around the church, digging in the trash, and someone even knocked our mailbox off the post. I pray someone finds it. However, don’t love the money so much that you would tear up a church or dig through their trash. We do have cameras and you have been seen.
1 Timothy 6:10. For the Love of money is the root of all evil.

There is a difference between love and Love.
There is a love = I love you “just words”
Then there is Love = “I’d give my life for you Love”
One is a lazy love and the other is an action Love!

It is with heavy heart, but in Gods plan that we announce Rock of Helps Church at 801 Tremont street will be closing the doors.
Our last service will be December 28, 2025. We know that God has something planned, we just don’t know what, when, or how. We will continue the page for now but will not be having services.
Rock of Helps Church was established 40 years ago and 2026 will be the 41st year. If you know or have read the Bible. Great things happen on the 41.
Moses was on the mountain for 40 days and on day 41 God gave him the 10 commandments.
God also caused it to rain for 40 days and 40 nights. On 41 it stopped and God began rebuilding through Noah.
God always has a plan! Even in the middle of our storms or the absence. He still fulfills a purpose for His plan.
This does not mean God is done. It just means he is changing our direction.
When driving a car you have to make turns to get to your destination. Same with God’s plan. We have to rely on Him and His Word as our GPS.
As always I encourage you to get into a church that will fellowship and minister the Word of God. Meeting in person is more of a blessing than you know. Do not forsake that!

The church buildings and property will be going up for sale.
