Morning Scripture:

Good Morning, let’s face the facts my friends, God is good, all the time!!!

James 4:17
“Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.”

Godly living is the main focus in the Book of James, which gives us instructions about living and growing in godliness. Let me encourage you all to read and study this Book and apply its wisdom, guidelines, and principles to your daily lives. By God’s grace, do your best to live in righteousness and peace in all that you say and do. Be faithful to do the good that God shows you to do. If you’re not, then you are committing the sin of omission!
Have a Great Friday and Weekend, sin is not just doing evil deeds that are contrary to God’s Word, called the sin of commission, but it’s also failing to do what you know God wants you to do, called the sin of omission!

Morning Scripture:

Good Morning, let’s focus on the “Good” today instead of the bad!
Psalm 84:10:11

“For a day in Your (God’s) courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.”
“For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.”

We have to face the fact that we are living in a time that we many times face troubles and sorrows
(John 16:33). But the truth is, this life as well, has many Blessings and enjoyments that come from the hand of the Lord. Think of the many blessings that we don’t even acknowledge, recognize, and many times take for granted. Life itself, safety from danger, any health we may enjoy, how about the ability to see, to hear, to speak, to think, to imagine. We many times don’t realize these Blessings because perhaps we are concentrating on what’s wrong or bad, and yes I have been guilty. You see these blessings that we sometimes don’t recognize or take for granted come from the hand of God.
Years ago I knew a Brother and he would quite often say, “ I thank God for waking me up this morning, he didn’t have to, but He did!” I have never forgotten those words. Even our ability to love comes from God. But the greatest Blessing of all, is the gift of Jesus (John 3:16), so we don’t have to fear our eternal future, but can know for sure that we can spend eternity in Heaven, and all it takes is true belief along with repentance. I always say that Heaven is the Reward, and His Blessings in this life are the fringe benefits of our relationship with Him .
Have a Great Thursday, may we all consider Eternity, where are we going to spend it ?

Morning Scripture:

Good Morning, God’s Son came so that mankind can have Hope!

Revelation 22: 16-17
“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”
“And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, come! And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.”

The Gospel of Jesus is for everyone, “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance
(2 Peter (2:9). In todays passage, the Apostle John made it clear that the invitation to come to Jesus is for everyone who is thirsty for the water of life. Thirst is used many times in the Bible to represent spiritual need. The Prophet Isaiah, for instance wrote, “Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters” (Isaiah 55:1). To come to Jesus the only thing that is required is need. For us who are Christians, it’s our calling (Acts 1:8), to share the Gospel with those who have not yet heard or accepted it. Here’s the thing, We don’t have to have all the answers, but we do have to be living it to the best of our ability. Jesus said in
(Matthew 5:14), in reference to
Christians, “You are the light of the world.” And He said as well in (Matthew 5:16), “ Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven.”
Have a Great Wednesday, there’s an old adage, that I don’t even know where comes from that says, “If your going to talk the talk, then walk the walk!” Don’t let anyone convince you that Christians aren’t different, with different standards!!!

Morning Scripture:

Good Morning, our Hope comes from above, never forget that!!!!!

Psalm 73:24-26
“You (God) will guide me with Your council, And afterword receive me to glory.”
“Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You.”
“My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

I was thinking how that true hope comes from above. Sometimes, as we go through life, He is the only hope we have. As we look at our passage today, we see that the Psalmist is speaking on life. Let’s face it, if we live long enough, we are going to see changes in our lives, we are going to begin to see changes and limitations that we might of never had before. If we are not mindful of God’s faithfulness, through a true relationship with Him, we may begin to become fearful of what the future may hold. But you know what, God is our strength in every season of life. Our passage says in (Psalm 73:24)
“You will guide me with Your council, and afterward receive me to glory.” What a beautiful promise, I choose to believe it and stand on it, He, (God), will see us through this life, no matter how long or not so long, but when our days are over, He will see us safely Home, let’s put our hope in Him, He might be all we have!!
Have a Great Tuesday, if we haven’t, let’s turn to Him, tomorrow could be too late!!!!

Morning Scripture:

Good Morning, let’s each look around for others we can encourage today!!

Ephesians 5:30
“For we are members of His (Jesus’s) body, of His flesh and of His bones.”

Verse 29 mentions how that Jesus feeds and cares for the Church. Verse 30 emphasizes the close oneness that a Believer (Christian) should have with Jesus. Then Verse 32 states that this is an illustration of Jesus and the Church.
So allow me if you will to share some more Scripture.
“If you love Me (Jesus), keep My commandments”
(John 14:15). Pretty cut and dried Verse. Now, my entire Spiritual life,
46 years and 4 months I have heard people say, “You don’t have to go to Church to be a Christian.” Well, my response is, “You don’t have to have a parachute to jump out of an airplane either, but it sure helps!”
If we are committed to Jesus, then God wants us to become part of a fellowship of Believers. He also wants us to grow in our faith, and one of the ways we do this is through fellowship with other Believers.
“As I Iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend “
(Proverbs 27:17). The Word also says,
“ And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,”
“ not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching”
(Hebrews 10:24-25).
Have a great Monday, as Believers, we need each other
“Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken”
(Ecclesiastes 4:12). Just a little something to think about today!!
