So far in our “X Marks the Spot” series of The Roman Road, we have covered Sin (Romans 3:23), Salvation (Romans 6:23) and today we talked about HOW to be saved, found in Romans 10:9.

Let's meet our first Pr***en of the Week for our new fall semester! This Awesome Pr***en is Mariah! Her favorite color is purple. She enjoys swimming, and her favorite sport is jump rope. She is in 5th grade. She loves recess but when she's not in school, you can find her playing Minecraft or watching YouTube Kids. She loves to eat pizza and Arby's. However, if you want to get her a sweet treat a Hershey bar is the way to go! Her favorite Bible story is Jonah and the Big Fish. Mariah, we think you should Keep Being Awesome!!

Last week in our new X Marks the Spot series on the Roman Road, we talked about sin in Romans 3:23. Today we continued on the Roman Road as we talked about the salvation of Jesus found in Romans 6:23.

This past Wednesday night, our Pr***ens participated in this semester’s Pr***en Prayer Stations! 🙏

Each station had a different prompt focused on how we pray, what prayer means, and even how we can pray for others. It was a great opportunity for our students to slow down, think about their relationship with God, and spend some intentional time in prayer.

We love creating opportunities for our Pr***ens to not only learn about prayer, but to actually practice it and see how they can talk to God in their everyday lives.

Baseball, soccer, football, cheer, swimming, basketball, volleyball, golf, tennis… Whatever your Pr***en does, Pastor Jason wants to go support them! Email your Pr***ens schedules to [email protected] so we can get it on his calendar!

Please continue to pray for our neighbors in Palo Pinto County as wildfires impact the area. Pray for the firefighters and first responders working long hours to bring the fires under control, and for the families who have been displaced or affected. We’re grateful for those who are serving and helping during this time, and we pray for their safety and for the needs of these communities in the days ahead.

If you would like to help, we are collecting bottled water, Gatorade, electrolyte packets (such as Liquid I.V.), and granola bars for delivery this weekend. Donations may be dropped off today or tomorrow at The Outlet or the Church Office of the North Main Campus. Thank you for helping care for the first responders and engaging with our community!
