When was the last time you got to start over? The gospel of Jesus Christ is the ultimate message of starting again—not just returning to your old life, but beginning a brand new one.

This week we concluded our "Everyday Missionaries" series by answering the practical question: How do we actually share the gospel? We explored four key steps: Identify people who need Jesus, Invest in their lives, Invite them into disciple-making relationships, and Increase disciples by sending disciples. Remember—people aren't projects, they're people loved by God.

Here's the powerful truth: 80% of Christians believe they should share their faith, but only 39% have explained how to become a Christian in the last six months. What if we changed that? You don't need to travel overseas—America is the third largest mission field in the world. Your neighbors, coworkers, and friends need to hear the good news that Jesus died and rose again so they could be forgiven and live again.

Will you ask God for awareness and courage to be His everyday missionary right where you are?

This coming Sunday evening, 50 middle schoolers and 12 adults will load a bus and head to Panama City Beach, Florida. These students will spend a week away from technology, family, and their normal routine to study the Bible and worship with other Middle Schoolers. The family Team would ask our NSBC congregation to pray for safety throughout the trip, for each student to hear from God, for our leaders to develop lasting relationships with their small groups, and that transforming discipleship begins in each participant.

In this crazy season of Maycember—when May feels busier than December—it's easy to get lost in the details and forget the bigger picture. But here's the question that matters most: What's the mission of your life?

This Memorial Day weekend, we looked at Genesis 12:1-3 and discovered something powerful: God never calls the qualified. He qualifies the called. Just like He called Abraham to leave everything familiar and go to an unknown place, God is calling you to be part of His mission to bless the world. You may feel unworthy, unprepared, or inadequate—but that's exactly who God uses!

The truth is, you were created in the image of God, and He has invited you into the greatest story ever told. Through Jesus Christ, we've been reconciled to God and given the ministry of reconciliation. We're everyday missionaries—ordinary people empowered by an extraordinary God for an extraordinary mission.

So what's your excuse for not going? What has God called you to do today?

Today, we honor the fallen. We remember the heroes who gave their lives for our freedom. Their sacrifice is a testament to the cost of liberty, and we remain eternally grateful.

These memorials at both campuses stand as a remembrance of those family members and friends of North Side who have given the ultimate sacrifice.”
