Good morning! Have a great day!! 🙏🏻❤️☀️🌻🌺🌸🌼
Before your day starts invite the Holy Spirit into your day. Sit quietly asking Him to walk with you, for guidance and wisdom.
“The Still Small Voice: The Spirit often speaks as a quiet whisper or a deep sense of clarity, rather than a loud voice.
Source of Peace: His guidance is often marked by a calming, comforting assurance, even in difficult situations.
Cultivating Fruit: You can recognize His leading by observing the development of positive traits like love, patience, kindness, and self-control.
Aligning with Scripture: The Spirit will never prompt you to do anything that contradicts the teachings of the Bible. “

So if we want to know whether we are keeping in step with the Holy Spirit, or whether we need to find his footsteps again, we would do well to consider love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

VBS and Church Camp aren’t just a fun Summer program that our Churches plan and prepare for. We pray asking God to be at the Center of all we plan in all the preparation. We pray for each and every child God sends to us. We pray for the staff, all the volunteers, we seek God for words of wisdom. Both these programs are a great outreach. We love VBS and Camp! Watching these Children grow in Jesus makes my heart happy!! 🙏🏻💕🙏🏻

HOLY SATURDAY
“Take a guard,” he said, “make the tomb as secure as you know how.”

Imagine thinking it would make a difference. Of course, Pilate didn’t know what we know now. Even in his wildest imagination, this executor of Roman authority could never have seen all of this coming. Why? Because Pilate’s concern was protecting the tomb from the outside, while all along Heaven and Hell were colliding within it.

Of course, some of us are still stacking guards outside of the tomb, aren’t we? In spite of our faith, we hide things away from the resurrection power of God. We cram our little caves full of regrets, secrets we believe to be too difficult for God to redeem or shame so dark as to blot out His resurrecting light. We offer everything to Him except what we keep for ourselves.

And we shake our heads at Pontius Pilate.

What a beautiful invitation Holy Saturday is, and yet how seldom do we accept it? In our earnest eagerness to celebrate the empty tomb, we fly so swiftly by this opportunity to stop and reflect on the meaning of an inhabited one. There his body lay, broken for you. Today need not be a day of great sorrow, for unlike the Apostles, we know how the story ends, but it can be a day of great surrender. What remains in you that needs to be handed over? What needs to die in order for you to live?

It was our sin and God’s plan that led Christ to the Cross. It was his power and his authority that ruptured the darkness and resurrected Him to everlasting life. But on this Holy day, we must ask ourselves the question: “How am I still working to secure the tomb and keep the power of resurrection inside?”

Sunday’s coming. Will you experience the fullness of that freedom when it does?

Call back your guards. Take a deep breath, He shall soon do the same.

Jesus knew…
He knew the table
was surrounded by hearts
that wouldn’t stay

He knew the silence
that would come in the garden
when His friends fell asleep

He knew the kiss
was already planned

He knew the denial
would come before sunrise

He knew the cross
wasn’t far away

And still

Jesus stayed

He broke the bread
He poured the cup

He knelt

Not confused
not surprised
not hoping things would turn

But knowing

Knowing exactly
how the story would unfold

And still choosing it

He washed the feet
that would walk away

He held the hands
that would let go

He loved
without hesitation

Because Jesus doesn’t love
based on what you’ll do

He loves
knowing everything

And still choosing you

So when you wonder
if He sees you

He does

When you wonder
if He knows your failures

He does

When you wonder
if you’ve gone too far

You haven’t

Because Jesus knew

And He went to the cross
anyway

For you
