Message of the day:

Sometimes we let others people carry away our blessing. We let what they say about us-their disapproval and discouraging words-keep us from who we were meant to be. You have to put your foot down and, say; I’m not going to let people talk me out of my dreams or let a coworker make me feel inferior as though I’m not good enough. I’m not going to let a coach, a teacher or a counselor talk me into living an average, mediocre, get by life.” You have seeds of greatness. You are destined to leave your mark on this generation. Don’t let anyone carry away your blessing.

Today’s Message:

God is always giving us opportunities to move forward in life. God wants you to grow and reach your full potential. Anytime you take a step forward, the enemy will try to bring opposition and adversity against you. But God promise that through Him, you can overcome any opposition the enemy brings your way. When you step out in faith and opposition comes, just keep standing strong and doing what you know to do. Keep praying, keep believing, keep reading and speaking the Word. Keep fighting the good fight of faith and going to church. Keep walking in love and forgiveness, and keep your heart tender. When the enemy sees that you are more determined than he is, he’ll back down, and you will move forward to new levels of victory! Stay focused and full of joy no matter what comes against you. As you do, you will overcome every opposition and obstacles you face!

We are so blessed to have known you and experienced your love & kindheartedness in this lifetime. Your Waynesboro Church of Christ family love you, we miss you dearly, & you will forever be in our hearts. May you peacefully rest on.

If somebody did you wrong, rather than internalize it and wonder if there is something wrong with you, have you ever thought that they hurt you because they were messed up? Maybe they felt so badly about themselves, so unlovable, that they tried to project it onto you. How they are treating you flows from their own insecurities, fears, hurts, wounds, prejudices, and dysfunctions. Hurting people end up hurting other people. Messed-up people can mess you up. If you base your value on what they’re giving you, you can end up dysfunctional. Don’t let what others say about you define who you are. Don’t let what you didn’t get from them make you feel as though you’re to blame. Quit letting how people treat you make you feel inferior. You have to go to your Heavenly Father. They’re not your Savior. You already have a Savior. He’s on the throne. Go to Him and not to people.
(Galatians 1:10)

A PRAYER FOR TODAY 🙏🏾

Father, thank You that I can come to You for all the approval and love that I need to live securely. Help me recognize that hurting people hurt others and guard my sense of value when I come under attack. Thank You for being my Savior. In Jesus’Name, Amen 🙏🏾
