God of the Next Generation

Nichie Stonall, one of the missionaries we support and our February Change4Change recipient, was able to join us for worship this past Sunday. Nichie updated us on her mission work and life in Cape Town, South Africa. Nichie's mission, Open Arms of Hope, is doing incredible work serving young mothers by educating them in helping themselves, their babies, their future, and their neighbors by spreading the word of their organization and of Jesus.

A Bride for Isaac: Providence and Prayer
Genesis 24 seems simple at first. Abraham is old and Isaac needs a wife. A trusted servant is sent to find a wife for Isaac. Rebekah is found and brought home to Isaac. It sounds like a beautiful family story and it is. But Genesis 24 is about much more than finding a bride. It's about the faithfulness of God. It's about covenant, providence, prayer, and obedience. It's about the way God calls grace and calls for people to willing respond.
