Happy Fathers Day

Been thinking today about all the Fathers out there. I had an awesome Father growing up. I did not say perfect he was human and had human flaws just like everyone, even though he was a preacher. But, he taught me the most important lesson in life and that was to love JESUS. Whether you are a dad, grandpa, uncle or just a friend that has became special to a young one it is your responsibility to teach them right and wrong. It is your responsibility to introduce them to Jesus, the one that will get them through tough times and life, when you are no longer around to guide them. Father’s Day is on a Sunday I feel that is important not just because most folks are off on Sunday, but because it gives you a chance to go to worship with them and show them how important it is.
There are 168 hours in a week, so you have 167 to work and do what needs to be done or let’s say 165. That gives you an hour to clean up, drive to and from and an hour to worship with your little one. That is a very short amount of time to give to the Lord, who gave you such precious gifts.
So as you lay your head down tonight just set that alarm an hour earlier and get up excited to spend the day in Gods house thanking him for your special gifts he has entrusted in your care. If like myself your father has gone on to glory, make him proud by going to the house of the Lord and praise God for the teachings you had and you are passing on.

Thanks to all who helped get us ready for the Christmas season. Not shown in pictures but part of the crew. Caleb, HanLee, Cooper, Gene and Carolyn. Very pretty folks. Next Wednesday evening will be our ThanksMas dinner prepare to join us.

We want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. There will be no services tonight so everyone can enjoy family time. Have a safe and blessed Thanksgiving.

Prayer meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m. will be led by Caleb Mason. Business meeting and our meal has been move tod next Wednesday night November 13th. See you there.

Wish I would have went live but so proud of this young lady who has grown so much in the last two years. (My phone doesn't take great pictures sorry). Also, this morning Caleb was presented his Bible from his baptism. Awesome service "O What A Saviour".
