We’ve gotten comfortable with a Christianity that says all the right things.

“I love Jesus.”
“God knows my heart.”
“Nobody’s perfect.”

All true—or at least capable of being true.

But Jesus said something that makes excuses uncomfortable:

“He who has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me.” — John 14:21

That means loving Jesus isn’t proven by the Bible verse in your bio, the worship song you sing, the church service you attend, or how loudly you say Amen.

Eventually, love has to produce obedience.

You can’t praise Him with your mouth while deliberately rejecting Him with your choices and call that surrender.

You can’t ask God to bless what He has already told you to leave behind.

And you can’t keep using “God knows my heart” as an excuse when He’s been trying to change it.

Grace absolutely meets us in our mess—but grace was never permission to stay there.

Jesus didn’t say, “If you love Me, talk about Me.”

He said, keep My commandments.

So maybe the uncomfortable question for this Friday isn’t “Do I love Jesus?”

Maybe it’s:

If nobody could hear what I SAY about Jesus and could only watch how I LIVE—would they know I love Him?

🔥 Faith that never affects your choices is worth examining.

⚔️ YOU CAN’T FIGHT SPIRITUAL WARFARE ON SUNDAY IF YOU’RE WILLINGLY LIVING IN SIN ON MONDAY.

The armor of God was never meant to be Sunday attire.

We cannot spend the week entertaining the very things God has called us away from, then expect to suddenly stand strong when the enemy attacks.

Paul didn’t say, “Put on the armor when you need it.”

He said:

“Put on the WHOLE armor of God.”

Because spiritual warfare doesn’t wait for Sunday morning.

The enemy will attack your mind on Monday.
Your peace on Tuesday.
Your faith on Wednesday.
Your relationships on Thursday.
Your integrity on Friday.
Your worship on Saturday.

And he’ll gladly use any door we willingly leave open.

We want the shield of faith, but are we walking in truth?

We want the helmet of salvation, but are we protecting our hearts with righteousness?

We want to swing the sword of the Spirit, but are we actually living according to the Word we’re quoting?

The whole armor matters because the whole life matters.

Following Jesus isn’t something we turn on when the music starts and turn off when church dismisses.

It’s Monday morning.
It’s behind closed doors.
It’s what nobody else sees.
It’s the decisions we make when compromise would be easier.

Spiritual warfare requires more than knowing Scripture.

It requires surrender.

So put on the WHOLE armor.

Keep it on.

And live every day prepared to STAND.

“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
— Ephesians 6:11 NKJV

What is ONE thing God has done for you lately that you’re thankful for?

It doesn’t have to be a huge testimony.

Maybe He answered a prayer.
Maybe He gave you peace in a situation you couldn’t change.
Maybe He provided right when you needed it.
Maybe He simply gave you the strength to get up and keep going.

Sometimes we get so focused on what we’re still praying for that we forget to thank God for what He’s already done.

📖 “Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.”
— Psalm 107:1 NKJV

God took Ezekiel into a valley filled with dry bones.

And He didn’t rush him through it.

He led him all around them.

Ezekiel saw how many there were.
He saw how dry they were.
He saw exactly how impossible the situation looked.

Then God asked:

“Son of man, can these bones live?”

Sometimes God will allow you to stand in the middle of something that looks completely dead — not because He has abandoned you there, but because He is about to show you what His power can do there.

God didn’t tell Ezekiel to bury the bones.

He didn’t tell him to accept that it was over.

He said, “Prophesy to these bones.”

So Ezekiel spoke before anything moved.

He spoke while they were still scattered.
He spoke while they were still dry.
He spoke when there was absolutely no evidence that anything was changing.

And then came the sound.

A rattling.

Bone began finding bone.
What had been scattered started coming together.
What had been dead began taking shape.

But God wasn’t finished.

Because something can look restored on the outside and still need the breath of God on the inside.

So Ezekiel spoke again.

And breath entered them.

They lived.

They stood.

And the valley that had been filled with evidence of death became filled with an exceedingly great army.

Somebody needs to hear this today:

Stop holding a funeral for something God told you to speak life over.

That valley may look dead to you.

Your family may look too far gone.
Your situation may look impossible.
Your purpose may feel buried.
The prayer you’ve prayed for years may look unanswered.

But dry bones are not too dry for God.

Keep praying.
Keep believing.
Keep speaking His Word.

Because when God breathes on what everybody else counted out, dead things get back on their feet.

“So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.”
— Ezekiel 37:10 NKJV

Yesterday we gathered together. Today, we carry it with us — into our homes, our workplaces, our conversations, and all the ordinary places this week will take us.

Church may happen on Sunday, but being the Church happens every day. 🤍
