God is good. Not just when things are going our way, but in every season and through every circumstance.

His goodness is not dependent on what we see or how we feel. He is good because He is good. His love never runs out, His faithfulness never fails, and His character never changes.

Sometimes we can become so focused on what we’re waiting for that we forget to recognize what God has already done. Take a moment today to remember His goodness. Look back at the ways He has provided, carried you, strengthened you, and brought you through.

He has been good. He is good. And He will always be good.

“My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

It’s okay to be human. It’s okay to struggle. It’s okay to have moments when you feel weak, overwhelmed, or like you don’t have it all together.

What matters is what we choose to do in those moments.

We can try to carry everything in our own strength, or we can surrender our weakness to the One who is strong enough to carry us. God has never asked us to be strong on our own. He offers us His grace, His strength, and His help right in the middle of our weakness.

Sometimes our weakest moments become the very places where we experience His power most clearly.

So today, don’t be ashamed of your weakness because He is not ashamed of you. Bring it to Jesus. His strength is more than enough for you.

Pastor Cedrick Baldwin delivered a powerful message yesterday about perspective.

He read from Numbers 13:1-2 and Numbers 14:3, reminding us that we have a choice in how we view our circumstances. Are we viewing them through the lens of faith?

Sometimes, it can be easy to long for what’s familiar, just as the children of Israel reminisced about their days in Egypt. But while they were looking backward, God was calling them forward—to a land flowing with milk and honey.

God desires to do the same in our lives today. He is calling us forward, but we have to be willing to shift our perspective and partner with Him in faith.

“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”

That’s where the renewal of our minds begins—and where transformation takes place.

We are always safe in our Heavenly Father’s hands. He is constant, present, engaged, and faithful in every area of our lives.

His desire is to care for you, encourage you, build you up, heal you, and remind you of His deep love for you.

May today you find peace in the truth that Jesus longs to be with you through every second of your day. May that truth move from your mind into your heart, so that from within you overflows the shalom peace of our beautiful God.

Sunday Recap | Birthing the P’s of Pentecost ⛓️‍💥

Yesterday, Pastor Sarah continued our Birthing the P’s of Pentecost series and reminded us of how God cared for Elijah in a season when he was being pursued by the enemy.

Instead of asking Elijah to do something, God led him to the brook to rest and receive His provision. Elijah could have tried to make something happen in his own strength, but instead, he obeyed and trusted God.

Pastor Sarah challenged us with a question: Are we truly relying on God, or are we still trying to make things happen in our own strength?

When we get into the Word and discover who God is and who we are in Him, we can begin to live from a place of true identity, trust, and dependence on Him.
